What Parents Say
Terry Parkway Learning Center receives mixed reviews with strong praise from satisfied parents highlighting excellent communication, attentive staff, affordability, and convenient hours, but serious concerns from other parents regarding cleanliness, hygiene, supervision, and classroom management. The facility appears to perform well for some families while others report significant health and safety issues.
Terrible daycare. I communicated concerns with the directors about the classroom being trifling, my child’s face being dirty when I pick him up, and him having a dirty diaper that he had been sitting in for a while. I asked for my child to be moved due to him receiving pink eye. The changing table is supposed to be cleaned and sanitized after every child, and it was not. When picking up my child, I noticed the changing table had open wipes everywhere, dirty clothes, and a bunch of other things piled up on it. When expressing that the directors should have never let it get that trifling, her response was “we don’t micro manage our teachers”. The teacher also had my child, and other children’s sleeping mats in a pile on the floor. It’s absolutely unacceptable to treat children and parents like this. I do not recommend this daycare at all.
This is a very lackluster establishment. My son only attended this daycare for 4 months and there wasn't a clear daily routine or set of activities that the children follow. After a few incidents (pull-up not being changed, witnessing the wrong milk being given to my lactose intolerant son, bugs on the kids sleeping mates, to many kids to one teacher) I finally decided to remove my son after he was bitten by another child. I wouldn't recommend this daycare.
My son loves going. He has autism and I was worried at first. He has his days but he’s happy to go to “school” in the mornings. His teacher is Ms.Cassie and he really likes her a lot. I’m very appreciative to have found a daycare where they have open communication and I feel that my son is safe. Hoping he stays as long as possible.
We enrolled our daughter in the infant room starting at 3mo old. We were very pleased with the care provided and the communication between staff and the parents. I knew our daughter was in good hands when she would smile entering the daycare each morning. As new parents, we were very nervous when it came time to start introducing solid foods. However, the staff led the way for us. Our baby now eats better than most children her age and has met many milestones early all thanks to the Terry Parkway staff. I have already and will continue to recommend Terry Parkway’s infant room for new parents!
My daughter attended this daycare for months she didn’t learn much instead it was way too much tv time. A class outbreak of Hands, Foot and mouth disease happened and I called to warn the teacher that she had it and she replied “we are aware most of the kids have it” well why wasn’t I notified. The final straw was my daughter coming home with bug bites covering her back I withdrew her immediately after asking a neighbor for a referral she told me she wish I had spoken to her before sending my baby because this same school had her daughter walking around with no pants on for hours because she spilled something and they forgot to call her until it was pick up time. I don’t recommend please send your precious little ones else where trust me. The office is rude, the owner doesn’t care just all around bad
