My daughter attended this center from 2013 until she graduated UPK in 2016. I returned to the center in 2020 with my 3-month old son, and he'll be here until he graduates UPK in 2025! I can't speak highly enough of the entire staff; from the Infant room teachers all the way up to the UPK teachers - exceptional education & care IS always given. Staff here treat my children as their own family. Communication with parents is excellent. The director is accessible and the rates are affordable. Side note, this facility has a Nursing room, I was able to stop in and nurse my son as daily! My son is in good hands and my daughter still remembers her teachers years later - I'd recommend this center to anyone. I never had to or have to worry if my children are safe.

My daughter started at Rockland Worksite Daycare Center in the infant room (during Covid). The staff, teachers and assistants have been nothing but amazing at keeping her healthy and safe. Her teachers treat her like one of their own! There has been constant communication about her learning and progress. I can not say enough good things about this daycare and recommend them to everyone I know.

Choosing someone to care for my child so that I could work was the most difficult decision that I had to make and I was nothing but happy with the care and education that my daughter recieved at Rockland Childcare and Learning Center. She entered at 3 months in the infant room and graduated Pre-K from the center. The staff was amazing and provided a quality education in a caring and fun environment. This place is a hidden gem!!!!

Finding good childcare in Rockland County is super difficult. Bottom line, I would NOT recommend this daycare facility... especially for first time parents. I fully regret sending my child here and wish I pulled him out sooner. ***The BIGGEST negative about this place is the lack of enforcement of wearing face coverings by both parents and staff members during COVID. Several teachers and staff members were observed not wearing masks in the presence of children and/or wearing masks inappropriately (i.e: nostrils exposed/mask half way down their faces). Also, one teacher literally said "I can't be policing parents" and let someone picking up an infant inside the building and then into the infant room without a face covering. There are signs that say "no mask, no entry" but I've witnessed this not to be true on several occasions. When I spoke to the Director about the witnessed incident she said she confirmed it with the staff member and didn't know why the teacher let the parent in without a mask. The staff member continues to work there and I wasn't informed of any disciplinary action taken. Some other things: -Outdated building with some doors not functioning properly and broken child safety gates that allow for children to run into the parking lot -Infant Room: infants crawl on both the tile floor and the carpeted play area - no gates separate these areas; staff members and parents walk on both surfaces without removing shoes. -Infant Room: Toddlers are mixed with infants during the day - when asked why I was told "to maintain ratios" -Infant room operates on a schedule of activities (I asked repeatedly for it, but was never provided with one) and thus the teachers cannot always accommodate your child's feeding/sleeping schedule. -The Director often doesn't know why her staff members do certain things. Lastly, these are some of my experiences there. Again, I would NOT recommend anyone send their child to this daycare. I will always regret the time my child spent there and what it says about me as a parent. Keep digging and do the research. Choose someplace better. -Once picked up my child with a scratch under his eye that was actively bleeding. The other time (and his last day there) I picked him up with a split bottom lip. I was never called or informed during the day as to what happened. I emailed the Director to inform her, she never offered an apology and instead apologized for not knowing what happened. -Dropped my kid off with two extra pairs of clothing. I picked him up with black filth on his hands and feet and his same outfit from the morning completely ruined. I was never given an explanation as to what happened. -Forgot to label one of my child's food items - it came back with his name written (misspelled) in black permanent marker on the top of the pyrex lid; when I asked why the teacher did what she did, I was told "we only have permanent markers here and everything has to be labeled." When I spoke to the Director she said she didn't know why the teacher would do that, saying "we have sticker labels." -Spotted a black bear on the grounds on the way to work after dropping my child so I called to alert the center and instructed the teachers to please not take my child out. Upon picking my child up that evening, I was informed they took him out in a stroller walking the grounds with other children. When I asked why I was told "all children must go outside together." -I often picked up my child with a dirty face from food eaten during the day (10 hour long day) even though I always provided both wipes and extra bibs.

I can only speak for the infant room, but they take excellent care of my son. Every teacher I have interacted with so far has been caring and kind.
