River School Exchange Place-Bright Horizons School

My son has been going to River School since he was 5 months old and that may have been out best parenting decision by far. We weren't sure at first about sending him at such a young age especially given he had pretty severe reflux at the time. But all the teachers were so caring so any doubt we had disappeared after the first several weeks. It's been amazing to see him grow from tiny tigers to froggies (1) penguins (1.5) to now kangaroos (2.5). Every one of the teachers, Ms Kena, Ms Shazaire, Ms Alianna, Ms Jessica, Ms Neomy, Ms Renee, Ms G, Ms Natalie, Ms T Ms Corinna, Ms Shannel have been so wonderful and professional. As parents we feel immensely grateful and lucky.

Amazing experience! My kid started here when they are a little bit over 1 year old and over the past 3 years, they thrived and enjoy going to school every single day! Caring and very experienced teachers. I would definitely recommend this school!

Thankful and grateful for the amazing teachers and staff at Bright Horizon’s, River School. My daughter has been going there for three years and she has made wonderful friends, had the best teachers that took time to invest in her learning, challenge her and teach her fun things like chess. We are so lucky to have such a great school in our neighborhood.

I realized that I never posted anything for River School. Our daughter was in River School for 3 years since she was 5 months old (2017-2020). We have so many wonderful and happy memories there! It really felt like a community. The teachers we had were all very caring and nurturing and always took the time to communicate with parents during drop off and pick up. Communication was also done throughout the day through the Bright Horizon app and we got lots of pictures and videos through it. The directors did a good job communicating to parents and often hold useful workshops for parents, e.g. potty training. The teachers were willing to work with parents on different issues - potty training, tantrums, picky eating, thumb sucking etc. The classroom schedules are structured and filled with well-balanced and age appropriate activities, centered around self-help skills, art, music, movement, literacy, etc. The classrooms themselves were clean, bright and spacious. We went back in July 2020 when the school reopened during the pandemic. The school implemented all the necessary safety procedures and made thoughtful arrangements to help children with the transition back to school from a home setting. Our daughter was very happy to go back. We left River School only because we moved to another town. We missed everyone at River School dearly!

Had an absolutely wonderful experiences - love the school, the teachers, the leadership and the curriculum. Both my children thrived here!
