Such a warm, welcoming, caring church. And the church are the people and what a blessing this community has been to our family! From the first service we attended, no matter which pastor has preached, we leave every Sunday saying “Wow. That was an awesome message”.
We 1st attended for my best friendsdaughter's dedication in 2020, then started attending regularly at the tail end of Covid. We became members in 2022 I think. This church has become home. Always welcoming staff, and the messages are straight from scripture. Pastor Heath started this church over 20 years ago(I think) with true doctrine based teachings, amd the staff had carried in that truth. Pastor Blake isn't afraid to "step on toes" and gives you scripture based truth, but from a place of God's love. Even verses that I've heard q dozen times can be taught and something new learned. There's plenty of ways to get involved, small groups, Awanas (more volunteers needed!!!), and a dozen or so service teams. For such a large congregation, anyone can find their spiritual family here.
My children like this church so this is where we go. It is spacious and not too loud, which is needed when you have someone with special needs. They have tons of activities for all age groups daily so they can reach more people all during the week vs the traditional Wed/Sun services. There are several large rooms for children’s church and young adult services. The young adult and teens Sunday service is the 0930 service. The instrumentation with singing is good. I hope to hear them sing something more upbeat that we can clap our hands to. However, it is very cold in there and the AC blows down hard on your head where we sit at on the sides. We haven’t sat anywhere else yet. We often wear jeans and sweaters because the AC blows the entire service.
My family and I enjoyed this past Sunday's mass at 930. Very welcoming church!
