We couldn’t recommend Rising Stars Preschool and their staff enough! We sent our kids here and were constantly impressed by the low teacher turnover and the low student-to-teacher ratio—it really makes a difference in the quality of care. You can feel the level of love and education that happens at this school every day. The academic foundation is excellent, too. Our daughter is now in first grade in Round Rock ISD and is an advanced reader specifically because of the school's 'Reading Lab' program. If you are looking for a place that will truly prepare your child while loving them like family, this is it.
Both of my kids attended Rising Stars Preschool and we could not have had a better experience! The teachers go above and beyond to make the children feel welcome. They have wonderful events that include the parents so you can interact with the kids in their environment. My kids also did the extra reading lab (worth its weight in gold!), time and money class, and cooking/science labs, which are fantastic for that age group... they learned while having fun and were far more advanced entering kindergarten than many of their peers. We are so thankful for RSP!
Both of my sons attended Rising Stars Preschool for several years, all the way through pre-k. The teachers and staff were absolutely wonderful with the kids, and I always felt comfortable and confident that they would be in great hands any time I dropped them off for school (which is saying a lot, because I worry quite a bit). We miss Rising Stars now that the boys have gone to elementary (for which Rising Stars prepared them extremely well), and I would recommend this school to everyone.
When I moved to Austin from Dallas in 2010, I had a 3 year old and a one year old and I was about to have my third baby. I toured a lot of preschools when a friend of mine recommended Rising Stars Preschool and after the tour I knew this was the place for my kids. All 3 of my girls attended RSP and they all had the best experience and made some lifelong friends. Ms. Cookie and Mrs. Emery, I will forever be grateful for the love you poured into the girls. They are now 18, 16 and 14 and we still talk about Q & U's wedding, the Halloween parade and how much they loved to stay after school was over and have snacks and play with their friends and teachers. I'd go back there any day if I could!
I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Rising Stars Preschool. Thanks to the strong academic foundation and social-emotional skills my children developed there, they entered kindergarten well prepared and confident. The teachers are not only passionate and skilled, but made learning fun! The curriculum was thoughtful and engaging and the kids were always bringing home creative projects. We can’t say enough good things about the dedicated teachers and staff who felt like family. They navigated my child’s medical needs with excellent care and communication. RSP is a special place, and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
