Honestly I don’t know where to begin with this but my child was this daycare for about 6-7 months before I took her out. Whenever we would pick her up in mid-day, the place looked like it doesn’t get cleaned up at all. There has been multiple times that I’ve seen water spilled on the floor and it smelled dirty diapers(which I know daycare, but I’ve been to other daycares that where a lot better even in mid-day.) on top of that I was never given permission for the app they use, so I had no way of really checking on my kid and knowing what she ate and what she did during the day. There’s also been multiple times where I would see bite marks on her arm from another kid but I was never informed about about until I call the following day and ask about it and they tell me that an incident report was never made. I really wanted to know what happened and why my kid got bit so I can try to teach her that it’s not okay to do the same. But I was also never given that either. But in all honesty I was save the headache and really just look somewhere else.

We have had such a wonderful experience here! All of the teachers are great and ALWAYS have a positive attitude but I’m still learning all of their names l, however ms Alyssa is so involved and always willing to go the extra mile and teaching my daughter so much. I love seeing the pictures and videos of what she’s doing and learning. My daughter adores Ms Diancarla! I had picked my daughter up and was heading out to the car when I realized she had just pooped. Ms Diancarla didn’t hesitate to change her even though I had logged them both out and was heading to my car. And Ms Lituania always makes sure my youngest is well cared for and I can tell she truly cares about all of the kids she takes care of. I’ve also had wonderful experiences with Ms Yaret and Ms Deborah answering my questions and giving us updates when needed. Our previous daycare was awful but my kids have been here for at least half a year and we have only had great experiences, I can’t recommend this place or the teachers enough!

It was my favorite of the daycares I looked at, but that isn't saying much - it just meant it wasn't grubby and dark inside. But my kid was there for 15 minutes and got sick for a week. It was only 15 minutes because I ONLY chose this place for the cameras and I wasn't able to connect to them. First it took a 24 hour waiting period to be in the system. Then the app I was told to log into said I'd have to wait another 24-48 hours. But it turns out the director (who seemed really busy and was BARELY paying attention to this conversation) told me the wrong app, so I got rejected anyways. Then she didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I was literally right in front of her asking for help with the app. I am sure she remembers exactly who I am and will protest, but it was a very frustrating and easily avoidable situation and that combined with my kid getting sick convinced me to steer clear. I've had some BAD experiences working in daycares, including the la petite/children's courtyard chains. The short version is: you can never be sure someone isn't hurting your kids, and some of these places will go through EXTRAORDINARY lengths to cover it up. That's why I wanted cameras, so I could watch my kid and be certain. I wish I could point people to good schools, but unfortunately I am a middle school teacher and I can tell you that if you really want to be able to trust your kids not to be mistreated by ANY adult, you should demand a complete restructure of our entire education system and daycare standards. I don't understand how blatant child abuse can just be swept under the rug by big chains like this.

My kid attended other daycare and problem started when she was coming home very hungry, sad and tired. Then we found La Petite Academy and my kid started to eat better, she is happy when we are coming to pick her up, she cannot wait to go in daycare to see her friends and teachers. Even during weekend she is asking me why she cannot go in daycare. Staff are very kind and helpful. They work in smaller group than she used to attend so they have more time to spend with each kid. These bad reviews do not seem so real, because this daycare works better than most of them.

A 3.2 rating. I would give it a zero after my child was injured there with a massive black eye that resulted in a police and state investigation. Of course when I asked for the video of the incident, it just magically, vanished. A small plastic basket does not cause a black eye that lasted for weeks. This place is criminal and should be shut down.
