What Parents Say
Bright Start Learning Center in Cedar Park receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring staff, director Briar's leadership, and extensive facilities and amenities. Most parents report their children are happy and well-cared-for, though a few have raised concerns about staff handling of disputes, screen time use, and chemical odors.
I witnessed a child during lunch not being fed he was screaming crying and all the other children had plates infront of them. I reported what I saw. A few hours later the director called me to pick up my child. I finally got away from work to retrieve my child he was asleep and looked like he had been crying. I believe completely that they mistreated my son. Gave him the same treatment at lunch. Also he had bruises on his back.
My son has gone to this daycare since he was 8 weeks old. The ENTIRE staff (and especially The ladies in the infant room) are so sweet to him. As a mom, I can go to work knowing that he is well cared for because they actually love my baby. Briar, the director/owner, is fantastic. You can tell she is selective on who she hires because everyone who works there is amazing with the children. I call then my sons daytime family. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this daycare❤️❤️
I had my son Harry at this school from 5 months to 2 years. The only reason we changed was because I moved employment and the commute was taking us an hour round trip. I loved the school so much that we even tried to stay there through it but the drive became too much. Briar, the director, always knows what’s going on with all the kids and the staff. She’s on top of it and she’s never caught off guard. She follows the letter of the rule with licensing which I always appreciated. My mother was a daycare director for almost 20 years so I know how hard the job can be. The staff has turned over some but that is not uncommon. However several teachers were there the entire time my son was there and he came to love them all. We changed schools back in November, and while my son is enjoying his new teachers and environment, we still miss Bright Start Learning Center and all the people we met there. It’s a place filled with love and I would recommend them to anyone.
It's been over a year since my son attended this daycare. Making the switch to kid zone was the absolute best decision looking back. This daycare was awful and I'd love to remind everyone yearly to find somewhere else to go!
My kids love this Daycare and so do I! The staff is awesome and really do help your little ones grow. They have everything from computers for the older kids art room and out door play scape for the little ones. Kitchen and dinning room to field trips in the summer time for school age. Updating post be careful however when my son went from the 2s to the 3s and all of a sudden he was acting out two weeks later he was kicked out. I don't feel like all the teachers are able to do there job. He was doing just fine with the 2s teachers. The 3s teacher's I don't feel they know what there doing and lets face it I have worked in a Daycare 3s are the hardest to handle but I had kids who were way worse but I didn't complain to the Director and get the kids kicked out. I did my job and some people just can't handle it and should not work in a daycare. So just be careful because if you kid isn't to teachers liking you may need to find another option. Atlest have a back up because they won't even give you a notice.
