Rising Star Learning Center

I relocated from PA and it was very important for us to find a good school for our son (4) since he was experiencing a lot of changes at once We found this school and after the initial tour and conversation they looked good in paper My son was there for 8 weeks. I have never seen him more sad and insecure and so afraid to go somewhere than when he was going to this school This school is very inflexible. their rules are their rules and there is no accommodation for anybody My 2 biggest issues were: - My son was not eating at all, he will get home very hungry and NOT ONCE this was mentioned to us by the school staff. when we asked about this they said he has to eat what we have here, no exceptions (no alternative options offered) - He was terrified by his teacher. He will get scared just seeing her from the distance. (This place has some great teachers so I will not generalize). We believe the teacher made no effort to show him love or help him thro the transition he was experiencing. My son's felling were "my teacher does not likes me" We had long conversations with the adihmistative staff, but this information was never relayed to the teacher. When I called them to say we will not be returning to school, they never asked why

Rising Star Learning Center has been my saving grace for childcare for 9 years. When searching & touring facilities for childcare upon entering this facility, it was a no brainer that this was THEE BEST choice based off of the positive energies & being warmly welcomed in. The owners & staff are highly appreciated for their professionalism, the level of care & love that they have provided for my family. The level of comfort & trust that is provided in care from this center is unmatched from other facilities that I visited. My child truly loves this place because they definitely provide top notch care, fun & safety for all.

I love Rising Star Learning Center. I've had five of my grandchildren to attend the center over the last 15 years and the staff has always been caring and prepared the kids well for school. The owners' motto have always been if it isn't good enough for their kids it wasn't good enough for anyone kids! The center is very clean and continue to receive high endorsements from the State. We will continue referring others and family to the center. Keep up the excellent work with families Rising Star!

The owner has a very condescending attitude when you bring concerning issues to her attention. They put false information on their "cuddle grams" (the daily paper that's given to keep track of your child's daily meals and potty uses). The director became frustrated with me because I inquired about a few things that took place while my child was there. These are a few things that I inquired about that made Jessica (the director) frustrated with me; They served roman noodles with chicken, my child stated that another student hit her in the lip and her lip was swollen, the learning curriculum changed, and I inquired about them putting false information on the "cuddle grams". I also asked the staff to put my daughter on the "no pork" list and the day after they put her on the list and posted it, they still gave my daughter a ham sandwich (which was indicated on the cuddle gram). Jessica, the director became frustrated with me asking questions pertaining to my daughter's safety at the center and stated that she felt that I did not trust them, she then asked me to find another center for my child. I removed my child immediately! Their teacher turnover rate is extremely high, so it's hard for the children to get adjusted because of the constant new faces. Lastly, they are money hungry! My daughter was out for a week with the flu (That she received from a child that they continued to let come to the center while she was ill), and they still insisted that I pay the full weekly amount of $170.00. They are not caring or considerate of any circumstance. The best thing about my experience at this daycare was my daughter's teacher (Mrs. Diane), she's very good with kid's and she genuinely cares about providing a great learning atmosphere for her class. I would not recommend Rising Star Learning Center to anyone.

The staff at Rising Star is friendly and attentive. My child is thriving there and we love it! They keep me abrest of any developmental changes they notice with my infant. We only have one LO right now. But as our family grows we will continue to trust them with our daycare needs. We know our baby is safe and well cared for while we work each day. That gives us peace of mind to focus while we are away from the baby.
