Rise And Shine Academy

Our son started here in July 2025 and it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience. I shopped around and while we have a lot of wonderful options nearby, this place was the obvious choice for us. They have: -AMAZING teaches (there’s nothing as comforting as seeing your child run up to both teachers with genuine excitement). -extended hours -a director who is super friendly and she cares so much about running a successful and safe program -an indoor AND outdoor play place space for the kiddos -communication that is reliable and they love to share pictures, and you can count on daily reports 10/10, no notes! Please note- we have an older child, too, so this is our fourth daycare center experience. It’s our favorite! It’s also close to target and Trader Joe’s for easy errand running before or after drop off. Shout out to our toddler room teachers Ms. Michelle and Ms. Melissa!

My two children attended Rise and Shine from January of 2017 to July of 2025. We attended from Infant through Preschool for both of my sons. I have been so impressed with the care, kindness, and education my children received. When my son went to kindergarten, the teacher was impressed with his vast prior knowledge, skills, and kindness to his friends. Rise and Shine did so much to help him become who he is today. Teachers were always available to chat and provide help. The infant teacher was the person who helped me know when to change bottles, add in foods, and all those first time mom things that I didn't know. Throughout the years, Rise and Shine has helped my children through all of their milestones from weaning from bottles, taking naps, eating new foods, potty training, writing their names, learning their letters, and everything in between. I couldn't imagine a better place to have been my children's second home during their early years. The director and assistant director are highly involved and knowledgeable about all things related to the center. I highly recommend Rise and Shine.
