Great atmosphere!! The congregation makes me feel welcome at any time, the Rabbi ( both of them) are sweet, fun and wise! Cantor Judy is just the best!!
Both of my children were baby named here. Rabbi Andrew is incredible along with all of the staff! Miss Lindsay, Ana, and the ECC team have created a wonderful environment for children to thrive. I used to be the director of a school, so I had extremely high expectations. Ramat Shalom is the best place for my children to thrive and I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing community.
Ramat is a very warm and welcoming synagogue. My children love going to Torah school, because Ramat makes the experience fun! My husband has always felt welcome at the temple even though he was raised Catholoic. I am looking forward to my son's upcoming Bar-Mitzvah. Thank you Ramat Shalom for helping our family have a sense of belonging and community. We love you!
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and enthusiasm for Ramat Shalom Congregation, our beloved spiritual home. Since joining this congregation, my family and I have experienced a sense of belonging and acceptance that is truly remarkable. Ramat Shalom is much more than just a synagogue; it is a vibrant community filled with compassionate individuals who share a common passion for faith, spirituality, and social justice. From the moment we first set foot inside its doors, we were greeted with warmth and open arms. The congregants and clergy have made it their mission to create an inclusive environment that embraces diversity in all its forms. One of the most remarkable aspects of Ramat Shalom is its commitment to celebrating and respecting different traditions and backgrounds. Whether we are observing Shabbat, celebrating Jewish holidays, or engaging in social activities, there is a strong sense of unity that transcends any differences among us. Our congregation is a tapestry of families from various ethnicities, cultures, and walks of life, creating a beautiful mosaic of love and acceptance. The leadership at Ramat Shalom has been instrumental in fostering a welcoming and nurturing environment. Rabbi Andrew and his dedicated staff go above and beyond to ensure that every member feels seen, heard, and supported. They provide inspiring sermons, meaningful rituals, and educational programs that encourage personal growth and spiritual exploration. As a parent, I am particularly grateful for the engaging and enriching youth programs offered by Ramat Shalom. The religious school and youth group activities have played a significant role in instilling strong Jewish values and fostering a sense of community in our children. The dedicated teachers and mentors help our children develop a deep connection to their Jewish heritage while encouraging them to embrace their individuality and unique gifts. Furthermore, Ramat Shalom actively engages in numerous social justice initiatives, advocating for equality, compassion, and inclusivity. The congregation's commitment to Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, extends beyond the synagogue walls, making a positive impact on the wider community. This dedication to social justice aligns perfectly with our family's values and has allowed us to actively participate in meaningful projects that make a real difference in people's lives. In conclusion, Ramat Shalom Congregation has provided my family and extended family with an enriching and supportive environment in which to grow spiritually, connect with others, and raise our children with a strong sense of identity and values. We are truly blessed to be a part of this extraordinary community. Ramat Shalom is more than just a synagogue; it is a sanctuary where love, acceptance, and personal growth thrive. I encourage anyone seeking a welcoming and inclusive spiritual community to consider Ramat Shalom. It is a place where you will find open hearts, open minds, and open arms. Our family's experience here has been nothing short of transformative, and we are grateful for the opportunity to call Ramat Shalom our spiritual home.
Where’s the 10 star rating? My family joined the synagogue a decade ago when we were a family of 3 and my oldest started attending preschool. Now, we’ve had 3 children graduate from the ECC, and one just became a bat mitzvah this past spring. There is nothing more special than having Rabbi Andrew conduct the bat mitzvah of your daughter who he has known since she was 3. Our family has made lifelong friends. 10 years or so ago, we didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. Now, we couldn’t imagine not being a part of this wonderful place.
