Wesgami Montessori School

My son has been with Wesgami Montessori from 3 months of age trough 1st grade. The Montessori method was great and I think is by far the best learning venue for children. The way they communicate with me as a parent was always ongoing and informative. Having the assurance that my son was in good hands made it very easy for me to return to work without worries. I have had three children attend this school. I love the fact that it is a small school (<40) which helps with individual attention The owner is great and really cares about your children. They follow Montessori curriculum, which is wonderful at both academics and social skills. All of my school aged children were very well prepared for kindergarten. (And to the parent who says the older children teacher the younger ones, that is the Montessori way of teaching...make sure you read up on Maria Montessori before attending a Montessori school)

When someone like Joysjayden Pagan writes a review with an absurd derogatory cartoonist language it makes me wonder if this is a genuine review?? Nothing can be further from the truth, over the course of two years my 5 year old son attended Wesgami he met & fell in love with the school staff and teachers, learn how to play with other kids, share, follow directions, sit at a table, develop good reading skills and make a lot of friends. Ms. Carla and staff were very helpful when my son was adjusting to being at Wesgami, they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. I have nothing but positive thoughts and memories about your center, it would be unfair not to voice my experience, because I can tell you are genuine and do care for the children and their families.

Stay away. I should have followed reviews I read; and my instinct. My child was traumatized at this place I stopped sending him because he was afraid I guess he was being mistreated when we asked the owner she said he was too sensitive, he does have speech problems but he did not have any problems at regular school ;actually the teachers were concerned of how he reacted when they would pick him up, they came to the house to ask us to send him back(the owner and an assistant) but only because they were charging the pvk fraudulently, against my will my husband sent him back, on the second day they lost my son and never called the police after an hour and a half they called my husband over the phone and told him "you're son left" Really a 5 year old. So when my husband found a police officer guess what my son had a teacher I had never met in my life, nasty said he wasn't part of the school when the officer got mad, they begged us to sign all the dates he wasn't there. These people are slick evil and malignant. If you care for you're child do a good screening. I didn't press charges because God is a fair judge and will bring justice.

I just want to start by saying that I am in major shock as to how you have treated my children after they have been faithfully yours since age 1. The fact that my children tell me that you yell at them and other kids everyday while grabbing them by there shirts is little compare to what I have seen and heard. I have kept my kids here in good faith so that I did not have to remove them to a new daycare that they did not know. But I have seen how the kids are treated and how they sit all day and do nothing in tables. This is just a little part of the big huge picture that I want to paint. Today I realized that you all do not care anything that's is not about money. As my daughter sat in the class doing nothing all day like a dog because she did not pay for graduation when the park is free and the library is too! I have had faith in you all , time after time even though my kids tell me the crazy stories that go on. This message is to advise that my children will no longer be attending your school ever again and that I would consider being nicer to these kids instead of thinking about money only. I have seen kids get dragged and yelled at , I have seen the kids sit for hours , I have seen many things that are uncalled for! Time for change before the city comes after you all for the nasty way this daycare I ran. The disrespect is crazy and I fear that one child will one day get hurt because of the way you all run this daycare ! Have a great life. And the last thing , today was the last straw leaving a child behind to sit and stare at walls while you all went to a free park is just sad that you thought it was okay to make a child suffer because of your pride. The place you went to was free and this is a 5 year old that should not have to suffer. You all do not have a heart and god will be of justice. THIS WAS MY MESSAGE TO THE TEACHERS AS I DO NOT LIE. THESE KIDS ARE TREATED BADLY AND EXPECT LICE ONCE A YEAR FROM HERE. THEY SMILE KN YIUR FACE AND PRETEND THAT EVERYTHING IS OK BUT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THESE KIDS SIT ALL DAY WITH NOTHING DO TO IN THE DARK. NAP TIME FOR THEM IS FROM 12 to 3pm AND IF THEY ARE BUSY 3:30. They care about nothing except money ! DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE !!!!!
