My son has benefited tremendously from Rainbows services! They worked with him on our schedule and we loved how they were able to come to our home to show us how to work with him in our own environment on a daily basis. They were also helpful when it came to providing resources to help progress his improvements. Angela has been working with him from the beginning and has done a great job!
Rainbows has been amazing for my daughter. Teachers are very invested in their classrooms and management always does a great job addressing any concerns we have. They plan lots of parent involved activities and field trips. They have a great outdoor area for the kids. Security is good. Outside door remains locked until buzzed in and each wing has a keypad entry door. Outside play area is secure as well. Docking 1 star for food quality (too much processed food for my liking.) However, they allow the flexibility for me to bring food for my daughter. I do wish they sanitized toys more often, especially during winter but the facility is extremely clean regardless. Price is high, but expected for quality childcare.
My fav daycare for my son. B, M, M, K, etc. My fav teachers that care for my son. They truly care about our babies & give them amazing care. Nothing bad to say, ever. I had major trust issues, because of my neglect from Home health care. These people have made me feel safe with my son being there. He loves it. He gets so excited.
When we needed additional Services for my daughter they were great...initially. Our point person made this huge rant and rave about how we have:: OT/ST/PT/Audiologist/Dietitians etc on our case and at any time if we needed additional services we would have access to them. Well when the time came and we needed Speech they acted like they didn’t want to help us. Eventually we got a speech therapist out but our point person would only schedule them monthly and then when we moved our visits to monthly she changes them to bi monthly. How is a child supposed to get help with speech when they only come out bi monthly. I felt like they just wanted to keep us in the program for no reason. At one I asked when we could get re-evaluated and the response I got was “ we don’t reevaluate because once they are in our programs they typically stay until 3 unless you discontinue services” After that convo our point person said that she talked to her boss and her boss said that if we re-evaluated my child that she would probably not qualify. We discontinued services with Rainbows and we now see a private speech therapist. I appreciate the help that our OT gave us initially but I was very disappointed in the end. I wouldn’t suggest Rainbows to anyone. We also attend PAT through our school district and other parents have also had complaints about Rainbows and their lack of wanting to help with other services available.
would give zero stars if i could. we had a really horrible experience with the SLP who was unhelpful and extremely unreceptive when i brought up my concerns. she also grabbed my 2 year old sons arm forcing him to sit still while she showed him a book. i wish we would have had any other option for tiny-K speech therapy in sumner county at that time. do not recommend rainbow services. plus they still believe in offering ABA services which is abusive.
