Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool Daycare Center

My wife and I recently left the Baptist church and background we'd been a part of for some time and went looking for other traditions. We found a new home in Lutheranism. I had been studying the basics of the major church traditions, and gradually became increasingly attracted to the Sacraments, traditional style, Confessions, history and more of the Lutherans and the LCMS, specifically. When we first visited, my wife was about to give birth to our firstborn. One of the pastors recognized we were new and greeted us before the service and asked us to stay after to speak a bit. We immediately felt welcome and spoke with him after the beautiful, reverent Divine Service. He offered and followed through on his promise to visit us in the hospital as she was recovering from the birth. We were extremely touched by his kindness and were honored to have him visit us and pray over us and our new baby. Fast forward until now, and it's amazing to believe it's already been a full year, and we've since had our baby baptized here, and have become members ourselves. Each Lord's Day, we are more and more grateful for our new home. May the Lord bless any and all who read this.

As the biggest LCMS church in Wichita, when I first started attending here, I didn't expect to be noticed much. However, from almost the moment I walked in people were introducing themselves to me and remarking how they hadn't seen me before. From there I have continually been invited into the congregation, and the people here have always shown a genuine interest in who I am and what I'm doing. I am now a member and so grateful to call Holy Cross my church home!

Holy Cross Lutheran has truly become a home for our family. The theology is solid and centered on the true Word of God. Every sermon and Bible study is grounded in Scripture and full of truth. The pastors and staff genuinely care about the people they serve, and you feel that in every interaction. One of the biggest blessings has been the fellowship with others. The people are so warm and welcoming, and we’ve built strong, lasting friendships through our time here. There are so many ways to get involved, which has helped us feel deeply connected — not just on Sundays, but throughout the week. We’ve had the chance to serve in meaningful ways and give back to God, which has strengthened our faith. Joining a Bible study group has also been a huge encouragement, growing in the Word alongside others has brought great friendships and spiritual growth. The school is another amazing part of Holy Cross. It’s a safe, loving, and Christ-centered place with wonderful teachers who truly care about the kids. We’re thankful to be part of a church and school that both feel like family. It’s truly a special place.

The best place to worship, family oriented and supporting each other. As a parent, I have had the privilege of being a part of this exceptional chrch and school. I am truly impressed by the dedication, quality of education, and overall learning environment provided at Holy cross. they prioritizes academic excellence by fostering a challenging yet supportive learning environment. The curriculum is great! It’s designed to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. and above all else, its Christian oriented, i love how the kids get to do devotionals at their first class. i love how they have chapel family from each class!
