Suprised how fast timeflies! Our son started going here when he was a toddler. He is getting ready to start kindergarten now! The daycare has lots of great staff! Very helpful, and communicative. Our son had needed some speech therapy, and the daycare was receptive to the therapist coming there a few times to work with him. The school works on lots of daily life skills as your child is growing. So many good things to say!

When our family first moved to Lee's Summit, we had the unfortunate experience of selecting a daycare that drastically failed to meet our expectations regarding the quality of care for children. This resulted in my husband and I pulling our children after only two weeks. Because of this experience, we were extremely nervous about our next selection. Having been in the Montessori environment previously, we decided to tour Rainbow Montessori. Immediately, it was evident that their definition of a quality, safe, and compassionate environment, following the Montessori approach, aligned with my husband and I. Further, they invest in their staff ensuring that they are not only passionate about their role but also that their training is up to date and that they have all of the tools necessary to be effective teachers and care providers. Our family has had two children enrolled in Rainbow Montessori over the last three years. I honestly can't remember a day (apart from the first week adjustment period) where my children weren't excited to get to school and see their friends and teachers. Regarding their growth and academic preparedness, this institution is top-notch. One of my children has just completed 1st grade, but speaking to our experience with them in Kindergarten, the transition from Rainbow Montessori to Kindergarten was seamless. They were not only fully prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for the transition but also environmentally due to the structured Montessori classroom setting. Lastly, the director and staff have always been transparent with us, which is critical. If a something occurs, whether it be a behavioral issue, an injury, or a policy change, this has always been immediately communicated while leaving the door open for parents to meet with them for a more in-depth discussion. I highlight discussion here because that is what it has always been. Rainbow Montessori has been a partner with us in providing a unified front for the care of our children. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Rainbow Montessori. We will sincerely miss having our children there as our last child now enters Kindergarten. Thank you all for everything!

Our daughter had a great experience at Rainbow Montessori East! The bilingual environment was incredibly unique, and she would come home singing little songs in Spanish. She had a great time under some very caring teachers. Even the director was very invested in her care! We were sad to leave them as they took great care of our little lady. We definitely recommend this school to everyone!

My husband and I toured many different preschools in Lee's Summit. Once we visited Rainbow Montessori (RM), our decision was much easier. Over the past 13 months, we continue to be affirmed that RM is a quality place for our children to learn and grow. The staff is caring and compassionate, and communicates effectively about our children's learning and experiences, along with any changes at the center. Our children come home happy, talking about their day and excited to go back the next day! The Montessori approach has been eye-opening for our entire family. There has been strong evidence of growth in both of our children, academically, socially, emotionally, and even with practical-life skills. We've also learned as parents how to better support and encourage them in the Montessori approach.

The teachers are very kind and professional. The owner is always ready to help. My son really enjoyed this facility. The best point is.....no teacher turn over like other daycares! My son attended 2 years with the same teachers, which is especially helpful when discussing my son's progress. I highly recommend the Rainbow Montessori due to their exceptional care and long-term relationships with their children.
