My child went to this school from January 2020 - May 2025. Once the corporation that owns this daycare took over. The teacher quality went way down and the tuition went way up. In 22/23 from September to September we had 4 different tuition increases. One of which they hide from parents that had been attending. You didn’t learn about it until you went up a year level. We unfortunately got hit with it sooner than they planned and learned about it. If you were new student you paid the higher tuition fee. They just didn’t inform any of us on that. I recommend all Child Prodigy South parents to check with the Child Prodigy north and east stores. It was just brought to my attention that a new parent friend that went to child prodigy north was paying almost 70$ less a week than myself and another parent at the south store. Yes, kids are the same age. I had a conversation with the corporate office in Ohio and they told me this wasn’t happening. Just wanting parents to know how they run this daycare. The last year my child went to this daycare he had 5 different teachers in the pre k class room. They couldn’t keep teachers. Zero structure in the classroom with kids. They charged premium tuition cost for below average care. I watched this place go from a waiting list and happy fun teachers to zero waiting list and bare minimum teachers. At the north or east at least those will be cheaper for you. Crazy the same Corporation can own three daycares in the same city and have tuition be different at them. To be clear I don’t know what they charge at Child Prodigy East but definitely know the north daycare was charging way less. I will say if you’re lucky enough at 3/4 years old to get Mrs. Lilly take it. She is worth the higher tuition fee.
My son is a sweetheart, but struggles with emotional regulation. The staff at CP, especially Cara, is so great about communicating with us, brainstorming solutions, and supporting my kid. However inconvenient that support may be. We had the opportunity to send my son to public pre-K for free, and elected not to because he's doing so well at CP. They could have easily sent him home on several occasions. They could have encouraged us to send my son elsewhere. Instead, they genuinely wanted to help my son adjust. The people at CP are there for the right reasons, and I will always be grateful to them. Daycare is an expense that impacts every budget, but I happily pay what I do to know my son is safe and comfortable and learning. Oh and the rates are more than competitive.
We’ve had such a fantastic experience with Child Prodigy South, especially in the infant room. As first-time parents, we were nervous about leaving our baby in someone else’s care, but the staff immediately put our minds at ease. The infant room is clean and filled with age-appropriate toys, and the teachers are all awesome. We get daily updates and photos, which make us feel connected even while we’re at work. Highly recommend it to any family looking for a safe and loving place for their infant.
My child has learned so much for only going to Child prodigy for 2 years (Age 1 to current). She knows her ABC's, can count 1-10, know her shapes, and most colors. There has been only one down fall, but they handle the situation with professionalism and listen to my concerns. The issue has been resolved quickly and appreciate their understanding of my concerns. My child loves the teachers so much. Ms. Amy and Ms. Marissa is the best, every time I pick up my child they are keeping them engage in a book, dancing, or play with their friends. I never have to worry if my child is safe, because the staff as a whole is very friendly to the parents and children.
Our daughter has been enrolled at CP the last three years. We have been very lucky to have had Miss Ruth, Miss Lily, and Miss Tami. All have been amazing teachers. Each have been given the autonomy to bring the curriculum to kids in their own ways while following the same units and themes across the center. My daughter will be well prepared for Kindergarten but more importantly I feel confident that she is with teachers who know and care about her and her friends throughout the center.
