Rainbow Child Care Center

We have been a KinderCare family for 5 years! We started at the Independence center with our foster son, and everyone was great. All the center staff loved on him, and engaged with him. When we had our daughter, it was a no brainer to continue with this center. Our daughter loves going there, and each teacher that she has had, has left a positive impression on her, and us. When we’ve gone on vacation, people have complimented us on how smart she is. My husband and I work with her, but a large part of her knowledge is a direct reflection of what she learns at KinderCare. The center has had some challenges, but the staff that is in place now is eager, and ready to improve the center, and the experience for families.

Came in for a tour and the assistant director, Jordan, was amazing and very helpful. Will be coming here as soon as baby is born.

UPDATE: 8/27/25- Hopefully all the parents looking into these facilities have read the articles about KinderCare on Link NKY..truly unreal and a trash facility at every location. So please look elsewhere before sending your children to these facilities..we are SO thankful we did not send our infant here!!! if my post gets deleted yet again by the facility owners, i will just continue to copy and paste it back onto google. or i will post elsewhere, in hopes someone's child can spare neglect or injury from any of these facilities locations. Took a tour of this facility on 8/2/24 to have our infant attend starting this fall. We asked for enrollment papers the day we were there, and they were unable to provide them. Stating they would be sent electronically via email. The girl taking us on the tour stated the director would send us everything we needed once she was done with a “meeting”. 4 days later, no papers. So, I called on 8/6/2024 at 4:46pm and requested them. The girl I spoke with over the phone stated the director was “out”, she would be back the following day 8/7/24 and would make sure I received them. I asked if they needed any of my information or email again and the girl says "no its all here on the piece of paper you filled out". Great, so I'm thinking there should not be any issues. One week later, no papers, I call again on 8/13/24 at 7:44am (they open at 6:30am), no answer. So, I call again the next day 8/14/24 at 11:06am, asking for enrollment papers, Meghan, whom I spoke with stated “I will send those over in 30-45 minutes”, with no apology or explanation on why these haven't been sent. Today 8/16/24 at 11:16am, I call for a FOURTH time, again speaking with Meghan, explaining the situation, and that they can just remove our son from their list, and all I get is a “sorry about that” with nothing else to follow. Not even the slightest bit of effort to keep our business. We needed care the first of September and are a military family who needed these enrollment forms to be submitted for the tuition program since we live more than 75 miles from my husbands base, and they were made aware of this on 8/2/24 when we toured the facility, stating they would make sure to calculate the military rate and have it all ready on the enrollment form for us. Also, touring this facility, it was not very clean, and we did not feel very welcomed. The nicest person there was the cafeteria cook, who let us in the front doors. Other than that, we got the vibe that they did not care either way to have our business. Luckily, another daycare in this town has gone ABOVE and beyond to accommodate and help us last minute, since we were given the run around for several weeks with Kinder Care- Independence. This was extremely unprofessional and extremely frustrating. I personally would not recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for daycare.

We toured many centers in our area, and are so happy we chose this one. The director Meghan made us immediately feel safe and that our infant was in the best hands. We’ve been there almost 4 months now and Meghan and her staff have far exceeded our expectations. Our son gets great care from the teachers and the app is always up to date.

Rainbow Child Care Center has been such a blessing to my family. When my son started there a year ago, his vocabulary was very minimal. He is now 2 1/2 and knows all of the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers and much more. I love how they interact with the children and keep them focused on learning. Love the staff and I'm so happy I made the decision to switch my children to Rainbow. You all are great!!!!!!
