The parents deserve to know the truth before sending their children here. This place is absolutely horrible. The teachers are mean and show no real care for the kids. The manager is unprofessional, rude, and refuses to take action when serious problems are reported. What’s worse is that some teachers hit and abuse the children, and instead of firing them, management allows it to continue. The kids are treated terribly every single day, and it breaks my heart to see. If you are looking for a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for your child, this is NOT the place. Please do not make the mistake of sending your kids here. They deserve so much better.
I enrolled my kids summer of 2024 and have nothing but good things to say about kindercare Southwest. I love that the staff (from the director to the kitchen staff to the float teachers), always communicate with me through the app about any updates with the kids or changes. When I drop off my kiddos, I know they are safe and cared for. I love when pictures are posted on the app of what the kids are doing and what they have ate as then, I am able to continue a routine at home. My oldest child has since graduated and he asks daily if he can go back. I recommend kindercare!
I absolutely adore this place. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else in fort Wayne. Everyone in this establishment is very welcoming and heart warming. They felt like family from day one. They make me feel safe leaving my child for the day. AND BOYYY don't get me started on ALL the activities they do to keep these kids busy. They are doing something all day long. I also love the accessibility of the app they have to see what is going on with my child daily. I get to see what he eats, how much, diaper changes and EVEN PICTURES I can download and share with other loved ones. The hours are great and accessible as well. I absolutely love this child care and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for caring for my child as if they were your own! ❤️🙏
Brandi, the director, is wonderful. She cares about all of the kids at Rainbow, and wants every parent to feel confident leaving their children there. When I had a newborn there, we had some issues with the first room she was in and didn’t feel the teachers in the room were a great fit for us, and when we told Brandi, she switched us to the other infant room the following day. She moved to Kim’s room, and I will forever be grateful for Kim. She made the stressful experience of leaving my newborn all day for work SO much better, as I knew she cared SO much about the babies. You can tell she genuinely loves her job there. She called me every time she had even a tiny feeling something was off. She sent me pictures during the day through the daycare’s parent portal app, and told me all of the funny things that my baby did during the day when I came to pick her up. My older daughter at this time was in pre-k and loved it also. She formed great relationships with her teachers and friends. Overall, we had a great experience with Rainbow on Carnegie.
My 2 kids attend Rainbow and we couldn't be happier. Caring, loving staff and great facilities (the indoor gym is awesome and the building is brand new!). Nothing beats having confidence in the care your children receive, and we have that at Rainbow.
