Rainbow Child Care Center

Giving this school 5 stars because of the teachers who cared and guided my child. Shoutout to Ms. Ara who has always shown compassion, dedication, understanding, empathy, and joy in helping the children. Ms. Amber is awesome, too. My child loves his teachers and always talks about them with great enthusiasm. The school communicates well with parents all the time, and we appreciate that gesture. Thank you for all your hard work.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this daycare. My son, who is in the 2-3 year old program, is one of only two Black children in the class, and I feel his behavior is unfairly labeled as “hyperactive” simply because he doesn’t conform to the expectations set by the other children, mostly Asian kids. It’s disheartening to see how his behavior is constantly viewed negatively due to racial bias. Additionally, there have been several incidents in the classroom that were not properly addressed. My son came home one day and told me he was bitten by another child. When I reached out to the teachers, Ms. Colleen and the director, Ms. Diana, I received conflicting responses. Initially, I was told the incident wasn’t seen, but later, Ms. Colleen admitted to witnessing it but never checked on my son to see if he was hurt. To make matters worse, I found out that they don’t keep records of such incidents, so parents are only made aware if the child speaks up about it. Ms. Colleen, the teacher, is not certified and has little experience working with young children. It’s clear she struggles to manage the class, and my son, who is energetic and curious, seems to be singled out for behavior that should be considered normal for his age. While I don’t believe the director has made any direct racist comments, the overall treatment and lack of proper care for my son, along with the lack of incident documentation, is concerning. There are many more issues I have, but these are the most troubling. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their child.

This is the one of the best lovely day care center I ever experienced. I don’t know why people rate low, this child care is the best one in the whole Queens. I drive 30 minutes back and forth send my child to this child care center. Another baby’s mother from Howard beach drive 50 minutes back and forth everyweek. Teachers and front desk all are very very nice! They know not just education also deliver love to every children. My child is very happy in this child care center and she learned a lot! DON’T LISTEN TO EVIL TO TALK, GO VISIT BY YOURSELF.. You will be surprised why so many parents send their children to this center with long travel.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Amazing teachers and staff! My daughter attended Pre-K and loved going to school everyday. The teachers are very attentive and I highly recommend this school. They also teach Mandarin for anyone who might be interested in their extended day program. I knew this school was amazing when my child can do Math in English and Mandarin.

My daughter attended this daycare/school for pre-k in 2017-2018. I’m not sure why I never wrote a review so here it goes. I LOVED this daycare everyone was amazing in this school. All the staff especially Mrs. Maggie. She treated my daughter like her own. I was very comfortable leaving my daughter here. She learned so much and made great friends. As a parent I know choosing the right school for your child it can be extremely stressful but this place exceeded my expectations. I will choose them again and again.
