Excellent place for children to learn and have fun! The school is spacious and clean. Kids love to play in the huge gym between classes. The principal smiles all the time and is well-liked by students; the staff is friendly; and the teachers are experienced!
It's better than Huayi, the gym is great and in good hands. But all teachers look like they are forced to do this and barely care about their kids. I saw one teacher yelling at her kid to stop crying and the kid was literally like 5! They NEED to be more comforting if they want students to keep going there.
QD academy is great! All teachers and administrators are very nice people; they treat students and parents with care and respect. They give kids advanced homework, offer a variety of extracurricular classes: chess, art, writing, speech, Chinese, robotics, etc. My kid thoroughly enjoyed coming to QD, learned a lot, and made several friends too! 100% recommend!
The bathrooms looked like someone used it in 1918 and it hasn’t been cleaned since. Same with the carpets.
I love attending the after school program here! They offer a wide variety of after school program classes and weekend classes. The Chinese classes are especially great with experienced teachers that have helped me excel in my own Chinese lessons that I was taking in high school. They also have really great math programs. Overall, the community of educators here provide a high quality educational experience for students. The staff here really believe in providing students an excellent learning environment!
