This is our family's first year at PNS and is has been a wonderful experience. We are so happy to have found this school! Our daughter had never really been in any sort of classroom or daycare setting but she adjusted immediately and loves going to school. The teachers are incredible and they know how to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. Our daughter's class is four days a week for three hours. Each day involves learning, playing, and a snack time. The school is also run by the parents, so everyone is working together to provide the best for our kids. The other parents have been lovely and very welcoming. PNS has been the perfect place to give our daughter a preschool experience and to better prepare her for kindergarten next year.

We love Providence Nursery School! My two oldest children have very different personalities and it has been a fantastic experience for both of them. We can't wait for our youngest to start there soon! We love the wonderful community and having the opportunity to be more involved in our children's early childhood education. All of the teachers are wonderful and staff turnover is super low (many of the teachers and aides were parents at the school before they became teachers and loved the school so much they couldn't stay away!). All of my children love going to school and have so much fun learning through play at PNS! My oldest was definitely prepared for kindergarten (she's thriving) and I have no doubt my younger two will be ready when they graduate, but I will be so sad to leave this wonderful school!
We love PNS! All three of our children went there. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and very knowledgeable about early childhood education. They do a great job keeping families updated, including sending weekly emails, holding parent brunches, and parent-teacher conferences. Being a co-op school, there is a lot of opportunity for parent participation and input, and a great sense of community.
PNS is a wonderful school where children can learn through play with experienced teachers and supportive, involved parents. It's a great environment for younger kids to get used to a school rhythm (especially those who never went to daycare!), as they have a structure set up to get the children comfortable through playdates and half-days before the school year starts. As it's a co-op, parents are involved in running the school in a variety of roles, meaning that all parents are engaged and invested in the children's experience. The dedication of the parents and teachers is wonderful.
