We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible seven years our family spent at Rise and Shine. Both of our boys started there as infants and continued all the way through pre-K, including during the challenges of the COVID period, and the care, love, and stability they received never wavered. The teachers are absolutely amazing. They bring such warmth, patience, and creativity to every classroom, helping each child feel valued and confident. Our kids thrived socially and academically, and they were more than ready to start kindergarten thanks to the thoughtful preparation and nurturing environment here. Even now, our boys still talk fondly about their teachers and the fun they had every day, from art projects and songs to playground adventures and holiday events. It’s rare to find a place that feels like such a true community, and we feel so lucky that Rise and Shine was part of our family’s story. We can’t thank the staff enough for the love, laughter, and learning they shared with our kids. Highly, highly recommended!

My experience with Rise and Shine Preschool Monica at 1018 Main Street has been incredibly positive. The staff there is truly warm, caring, and dedicated to the overall growth of our children. We appreciate their efforts and dedication to look after our children’s well-being. The school president and director, Ms. Monica Downs, is always available to answer questions, concerns, and address issues promptly, making accommodations to meet the unique needs of each child. Ms. Tamanda, in particular, has a remarkable ability to adapt to the children’s needs and make necessary modifications. Her prompt responses and professional communication have been outstanding. She ensures that the children feel comfortable and at ease in her care. Their Summer Camp with Rise and Shine Preschool is truly exceptional. The children not only engaged in various activities but also had the opportunity to learn STEM-related concepts. I hope their positive impact extends to other students in the classroom and in the community. Coming up on almost 10 years as a Rise And Shine customer for our two sons and I couldn't be more positive about the experience. It's a family run business – Monica is a great leader, and her mother Maria is a constant and warm presence at the center. Our last two teachers are Miss Tamanda and Miss Destiny -- They have both been exceptional teachers and examples to our youngest son. One of my Oldest son's former teachers Miss Jenni is now in a leadership role At the preschool, and she was an excellent teacher as well as an administrator. Also have great additional staff like Miss Lauren and Miss Elena, who helped with both my oldest son and now my youngest. Too many others to mention – it's an overall great staff and I can't think of a better place to trust your children.

Our children have attended Rise & Shine from 4 months old through preschool. We’ve seen the daycare grow from its first year to celebrate 10 years and we’ve always received wonderful care. The teachers are caring and nurturing; the curriculum is engaging, while also allowing kids to be kids. The family events are fun too! From the start, we knew we had made the right choice. We’ve also been glad to know our kids have been well prepared to enter kindergarten.

My daughter Leah has been in this school for two years and she loves this school. She loves her teacher, Ms. Destiny Smith. I am very glad to have her with my daughter for two years.
