What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Seedlings Early Learning Center (formerly Promise Day Care) for excellent staff care, strong communication, and child development. Children show significant growth, enjoy attending daily, and benefit from a stable teaching environment with minimal staff turnover. The center is highly recommended by families with multi-year enrollment history.
I’m glad my toddler is at Seedlings. We started as an infant and during the transition into the program, the infant teachers patiently held our baby during naps and worked with bottle refusal (and we’d already seen an infant OT for this without luck). My toddler is thriving there. Lots of different activities in the toddler room and they get to play outside in the nice outdoor area when the weather is appropriate! The teachers care and comfort my toddler during hard drop offs. We’ve purposely visited at a lot of unexpected times and witnessed good care in the infant, toddler, and younger kids rooms that I walk by. The teachers have minimal turnover thus far and the substitute teachers are consistent so my child seems comfortable with them. For context, my family is hyper vigilant after having a bad experience with my infant at a different center. We have an older school aged child who went to a daycare where we previously lived, so I have several experiences (good and bad) and we are happy here. We feel apart of the community and the staff all greet us by name. Kim is open/available to chat and address concerns as needed and responds on brightwheel quickly.
This place is definitely the best. My son has went here since 1year old. He has grown and learned so much here. HUGE vocabulary. Love all the staff and all the support for my family during hard times. My son is now going into kindergarten and has out grown this spot. High recommended place for the youngins.
We have been at The Seedlings since 2021, our oldest recently graduated and is off to start kindergarten and the youngest has 2.5 years to go. All educators and staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children, their teaching techniques are in line with our personal parenting style so the transition from class to home life is seamless for us. An app is utilised to check in/out children, communicate with the educators as well as the admin of the Day Care. It is honestly amazing all of the real time updates you receive about your child from snacks, meals, water breaks, diaper changes/potty breaks, activities, Spanish lessons and best of all photos of your child. As a mom it's so hard to trust strangers to take care of your child, especially in their most formative years of 0-5. You the readers don't know me at all but trust me when I say these educators are excellently skilled, highly trained, patient and your kids are in the best hands.
I love this place. Everyone here has a huge hearts and a lot of child care knowledge. They communicate really well about goals and my childs progress. He loves going to school and has made so many friends. From infant to preschool, Seedlings is where we grow. 💚
My son attended this learning center and was totally and completely traumatized in the aspect of potty training. While he was in the “Rhodie Room”, he started having frequent accidents and coming home telling me that he did not want to go potty at school because the lead teacher Emma would hold him by his shoulders to keep him on the toilet “until he pooped”. One time I went in and could hear him screaming from a completely different classroom and I heard the lead telling him he would not be able to get up until he pooped in the toilet. He also frequently told me his teachers were on their phones. He would come home with bruises, scratches and bites, and would tell me these happened from being allowed to wrestle with other kids in the room. There were many times he would come home with scratches or bruises that I would never get any explanation for. The worst part was my child went from a kid who loved going to his class in the morning, to a kid who I had to try and pry from my car to get him to go in. There were several times that I went in to pick him up and could hear teachers being harshly loud and yelling at the kids in their class. Also some of these “5 star reviews” are written by staff members of the center that don’t have kids there. I’ve also heard from other parents that did not write reviews that they were very unhappy with the care of their children.
