What Parents Say
These reviews are not for a daycare center but for Cameron Run apartments in East Point, Georgia. The reviews praise the maintenance and leasing staff for their professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service.
It was end of the year and I needed to get a place of my own. Big thanks to Mr. Asen! He was patience, kind, professional, and most importantly he was upfront and honest. His presence and willingness made me feel comfortable and at ease. I’m Glad I gave Cameron Run a chance thank you to the property Mrs Mia and staff you all were sincere and polite and it is a joy to finally be home.
Horatio did an AMAZING JOB ! He fixed my toilet, door knob and transition strip for our carpet 😁 his work ethic is awesome and he’s really funny, didn’t have to stress out about maintenance request going unanswered. 10/10 ! He’s a great addition to the team, keep up the good work. Amareea also did his big one with our HVAC, he was very thorough and stayed until our heat actually started working, this is the 2nd time he’s come out for a repair and we’re very grateful. It’s been really cold the last few days and we were suffering, thank you so much ! Keep doing an immaculate job.
Worst place ever to live this is what I woke up to one day because sewage had First all over my apartment unit this property as you can see agreed to allow me to break my lease. I’m not sure why in the email they decided to only give me five days when legally you have to give someone 30 days to vacate the premises, but that’s neither here nor there they did honor The 30 days and change that to May 30, 2023, in which also attach you will see that I signed a lease in my new place for June 1, 2023, and it was only dated for 1 June because I did not want to sign a lease with two days left in the month of May so my new landlord dated the new lease for June 1, but I have documentation and proof that I was already moving in on May 30. She was nice enough to give me those two days for free due to my situation. meaning that I kept my end of the agreement and I moved off of the property, but this place decided to quote on “evict me in August 2023 I had no way of fighting it because I no longer lived on the property so I did not know that I was even served an eviction now they continue to deny my dispute and basically say that they evicted me fairly when in reality we both had agreements. I kept my end of the bargain in this place did not worst place ever to live.
Run away. As far and as fast as you possibly can. For starters, I moved into this complex in 2021, walk throughs were non existent at this point due to covid HOWEVER, management (at the time because there’s new management every 6 months) should have did their own walk through before handing me keys. The apartment was disgusting; BOTH toilets were FILLED with urine to where the apartment smelled of ammonia, there were NO shower heads, dried paint in the kitchen sink, dead roaches in the tubs and bathroom sinks, dead roaches swept in a pile at the front door. A year in, light fixtures began falling out of the ceiling that took WEEKS just to have someone take a look at and the A/C unit went out in the summer of 2022 I WAS 6 MONTHS PREGNANT IN GEORGIA HEAT FOR A MONTH, it got so bad my dad as well as my child’s father had to go off on everyone in the office because no one would come out to fix my A/C. When I was in labor, I assume the master bathroom flooded (the building residents were flushing pads YES SANITARY NAPKINS and baby wipes) and instead of anyone contacting me I came home to MOLDED BATHROOM RUGS, CLOTHES, AND TOWELS WITH A NEWBORN BABY. They stopped paying the garbage invoices and the dumpster area was filled with trash, THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT, there were rodents and roaches EVERYWHERE..the SMELL??? JESUS CHRIST. It got so bad I had to take my children to live with family because at that point it became a biohazard. I came home one unfortunate day and discovered my electricity had been disconnected, and no it wasn’t for unpaid bills, the apartment had obtained new ownership as well as management and LOST MY LEASE. The state was paying my rent and utilities, this apartment racked up over $20,000 from the State of Georgia and conveniently “lost” my lease and had “no record” of the payments made lol I provided the disbursement dates, money order receipts and fought for months just to get the account number from the office just to turn on my damn lights. After ALL of this, they still decided to sue me for the alleged unaccounted payments rather than contacting the rental assistance company directly, it was confirmed that the previous property manager stole money orders from residents which is why he was fired but residents were required to may those balances AGAIN. Well, Cameron Run decided to change the locks on my door as punishment for unpaid rent and the delay in eviction proceedings in Fulton County. Unfortunately for them, that is called an ILLEGAL EVICTION. In court I provided recordings of them LYING about changing the locks, I provided photos of the dumpster area, photos of lights fixtures with exposed wiring and THEY LOST THEIR EVICTION CASE AGAINST ME. This property is SO unorganized, SO shady and SO money hungry they still sent the balance to collections and applied an eviction to my credit. DO NOT MOVE HERE. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. BELIEVE THE STORIES. After the mediation in court I was FINALLY granted access to the unit and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of MY property were unaccounted for. THEY WILL LIE IN COURT, THEY WILL MAKE THINGS UP THAT NEVER HAPPENED. R U N.
I am no longer receiving any meaningful assistance or clear communication from the office, despite calling and following up on a consistent basis. My situation has now escalated to the point where I urgently need corporate intervention. This morning, I spoke directly with the Property Manager, Mia, and the conversation left me extremely concerned. Instead of offering support or solutions, I was met with dismissiveness and a lack of customer service. She stated that I have had “ample time” to come up with over $2,500 simply to restore my insurance — in addition to paying rent and any other charges — despite the hardships and unresolved issues I have been repeatedly communicating about. I explained to her that my car was towed after I was told it would not be, and I asked for at least the opportunity to have it released so I could move it out of state. She refused. She said she would “see what she can do,” but followed that by questioning why the car should be returned at all given the complications I’m currently experiencing. When I tried to explain further, she became increasingly dismissive and did not allow me to speak or present solutions. The conversation became so unprofessional that she threatened to hang up the phone, stating that we were “going back and forth.” When I said I could come to the office to speak in person, she responded with “come on” in a tone that felt threatening and confrontational. I truly wish I had recorded the call. No resident should feel intimidated or unsafe speaking with their property manager. At my age and with my goals in life, I do not place myself in situations that could escalate, but that is exactly what it felt like this conversation was leading toward. All of this is happening while I am still dealing with numerous unresolved issues that have contributed directly to my financial hardship and difficulty paying on time: • Concessions not being applied when they should have been, resulting in a late fee that could have been avoided. • Months without proper central air during the summer, with the AC not repaired until late September/early October. • Heating still not operating correctly without using emergency heat. • Trash consistently piled behind my unit and the compactor overflowing daily until I reported it. • An electrical outlet failure that damaged my personal property, with the Assistant Manager stating the property could not assist and that I needed to file a renters insurance claim. • Moving into a unit that was not fully prepared, including a rusted garbage disposal and other issues. Despite dealing with all of these problems, I have been doing everything I can to communicate with the office, request help, and seek options that would allow me to get caught up. Instead of support, I have been met with hostility, inconsistency, and a lack of basic professionalism. This entire situation has created significant hardship and stress. I am requesting immediate corporate review and assistance regarding: 1. The towing of my vehicle and the refusal to release it despite previous communication. 2. The lack of support from management and the unprofessional, threatening tone used by the Property Manager. 3. The unresolved issues in my unit that have contributed to my financial difficulties. 4. The removal of the late fee and payment reversal fee. 5. Reopening the e-check payment option so I can bring my balance current. At this point, I am genuinely questioning the safety, management practices, and overall operations of this property. No resident should be put in this position. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter. I am hoping for urgent assistance and a fair resolution.
