Fun & Engaging Learning “This preschool class deserves all five stars! The staff makes learning fun through hands-on activities, music, and imaginative play. My child is always excited to go to school and comes home talking nonstop about what they learned. The teachers truly understand early childhood development and create a safe, joyful environment for every child.”
I really enjoyed the diversity and inclusivity. My children got to meet many different people from many different backgrounds and that is important to me even at a young age. All the staff were welcoming and honest. The open communication regarding my children’s behavior and development helped me understand how to not only help my children in areas they were lacking but also encourage the growth they had.
I can’t recommend primrose school of west fishers because they were so helpful and I can’t thank them enough! My daughter was diagnosed with cancer and they supported me and let her come again and join the daycare so she can see her best friends again and had lots of fun activity! She learned a lot the past year she attended it and she learned a lot about respecting and helping others. My heart is full and all the teachers were so nice with me and her and provide us with everything we want! All the teachers are doing their jobs perfectly and my daughter learned lots of new stuff that related to math, literacy and art! I am so happy to be part of primrose family. Seeing my daughter smiling everyday is the most amazing thing any parent wants to see!
Do not use this location or the Fishers Station location. They’re not sure why enrollment is low…After reading the reviews I’m not surprised. I came here to say everything the other parents are saying. This place has gone down hill. The treatment of staff and children in the facility is the biggest issue. In the last 2 years I’ve heard countless stories of state regulations being ignored, children not cared for and even seriously hurt, management is known to cover up issues until they are glaring. They provide expired food to the children. I ate my child’s snack once during pick up and it tasted terrible- it had MOLD all over it! It was months expired! My child had a head injury (goose egg at pick up) and no phone call when it happened. They were required to call a parent and did not. It’s a revolving door of teachers and front desk staff. The teachers do not have backgrounds in early childhood education like they once did. I’m also told the actual background checks are done in haste and not done well. A couple teachers were fired over the last 6 months for pinching and aggressively restraining or reprimanding kids in 3yo room and 4yo room. The staff aren’t trained properly and don’t know protocol. Do not send your child(ren) here. See my review from 6 years ago. I LOVED this place. It breaks my heart to even have to say this, but it was a mistake to come back. It’s not a safe and loving place it once was.
Please see my review of Primrose at Fishers Station. This is the sister school and both owned by Kim Kohl. After the issues at Fishers Station my wife demanded that our child be transferred. (The owner insists this was the directors idea. But could not be further from the truth). Our child actually seemed to enjoy going to school again for the 7 days he was there, running to class again and excited. He had one argument with another student one day on the playground and 1 horrible evening. From what I can gather from my 5 year old, he was upset because he wasn't allowed to water some plants and he did spiral. The owner jumped in the classroom in the middle of it and took him outside. (Again coming from a 5 year old, but he said she grabbed him and would not let go) I had arrived shortly after and the owner could not advise what happened, only that he was upset, knocked some items off shelves, and took awhile to calm down, but assured me call in the morning with details...no call to me ever came except to my wife with statements that it was "so tragic" over and over and that our son attempted to bite her (No mention of that when I picked him up) and if there was another incident he would be expelled and they had no documentation of past issues, had no response to steps they are taking to help resolve issues besides what we implemented at the notice that our child needed a behavioral specialist (ear phones to reduce noise and commotion, sticker reward system, etc). Very lazy and do not follow the procedures in their handbook. I would discourage any parent from placing their kids in these schools.
