I am absolutely mortified and disgusted with this center. I will start by saying, my son, whom will be 3 in April, has been home with myself, his dad, and teenage siblings since birth. His very first experience with daycare and perfect strangers could not have gone any worse. He’s a very inquisitive, happy, and talkative little guy! Naturally he had a rough day as any child would whether their first time or not. He closed off to become more familiar to get comfortable and then opened up and began playing and exchanging with everyone (teachers and children) as the day progressed. I was told this was completely normal and expected as his day wasn’t the worst. I was reassured things will get better with time and my anxiety was probably worse than his. Sophia and I laughed about it and moved on. I later received emails stating that my application was withdrawn. I called and spoke with the the director and was told that there were TWO emails stating that my child is “not a good fit” and that “they don’t have the proper resources for him as he is NON-VERBAL!?” The fact that these people could erroneously label my child and detail such information is SICK. If they are not patient and equipped to handle a child that’s never been around strangers, that’s one thing, but to say he’s “non-verbal” and they “can’t accomodate his needs” is absolutely absurd and malicious! Amy and Brianna and anyone else involved, you should be ashamed of yourselves. It didn’t matter that he counted the numbers on the wall…it didn’t matter that pointed to things and spoke about them, it didn’t matter that he said good morning to you both and the children in class. Should we discuss what non-verbal looks like?! If they didn’t want him in their class, it could have just been simply, he’s not a good fit because he didn’t adjust well, but to falsely label a baby is disgusting. Discrimination is what this feels like; my baby looks nothing like the other children in this school. This has to be God saving us from something. I won’t question it, but I wouldn’t encourage ANYONE to choose Primrose Pickerington. I pray this is isolated to this location and not part of their culture. Imagine the hateful conversations held in private. To collectively conjure up such things is awful and vile.

My son has been in three different classrooms and all of his teachers have become like extensions of our family. All of the staff are so incredibly kind and thoughtful. We don't have any family support, so having such caring and reliable people caring for our son is invaluable.

Our oldest daughter attended Primrose 8 years ago, and from the very beginning, we felt a strong sense of trust and comfort with the staff and the education provided. Now, our 4-year-old son attends the school, and that same level of care, dedication, and quality continues to shine through. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and truly invested in the children’s growth. The curriculum blends learning and play so well, helping our kids build a solid foundation. We’re grateful to still be part of the Primrose family—it’s a place we genuinely feel at home.

We love Primrose!! Trusting your kiddos with someone else is hard to do, but Primrose makes it possible. We have two kiddos there in different classrooms, and both are doing so well!!! I feel very informed with anything and everything that happens during the day through pictures and posts on the app, and calls if need be. My daughter had surgery on her head with quite a few stitches, and when she slowly made her way back to school the staff were fantastic in watching her. Another kiddo went down the slide and landed on top of my daughter, next thing you know I got a call to make me aware so I could decide what made me most comfortable. Her head was perfectly fine, but it feels so nice to be informed and not be worried all day about my kids!!

We started at Primrose Pickerington a few months ago and have had such a wonderful experience so far. The teachers and staff have been so supportive and kind in helping with the transition (both for the kids and me!). We have loved the environment and all the adorable activities and crafts the kids make and bring home. We are so happy to be a part of the Primrose Pickerington family!
