What Parents Say
Primrose School of Legacy in Omaha receives predominantly positive reviews (6 five-star ratings) praising the curriculum, staff care, and child development, though two one-star reviews cite serious concerns about infant care standards and staff behavior.
We’ve had a great experience with Primrose Legacy here in Omaha. Our son is 4 years old and currently in Preschool 1, and he has been attending Primrose Legacy since he was about 6 months old. From day one, the staff has been welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in the children. Communication has always been consistent and clear, which gives us a lot of peace of mind as parents. The curriculum they teach at such a young age is unbelievable. Since he was little, our son regularly comes home excited about something new he has learned. I travel a lot for work, and on weeks when I’m gone, I come back and find myself saying, “How do you know that?” The teachers do an incredible job educating and engaging these kids in a way that truly sticks. The facility is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully set up for learning and play. It’s clear the teachers put real effort into creating a positive, structured, and nurturing environment. We’ve seen noticeable growth in our son both socially and academically, and he genuinely enjoys going each day. What really sets Primrose Legacy apart is the care and attention the teachers and staff provide. They have always shown a strong interest in and genuine care for our son, and we’re very glad we started him here at such a young age. We highly recommend Primrose Legacy to other families in the Omaha area.
My children attended Primrose School of Legacy and my youngest just started Kindergarten. They were both well prepared and learned skills to help them in the real world. While at Primrose, their teachers had a strong rapport with them and had great communication. As a parent, I loved the curriculum side of things. My children learned new things daily and were able to talk about them at the end of the day. I highly recommend Primrose School of Legacy!
Primrose has been such a blessing for our family. Our girls have received a wonderful education and the environment fosters a love of learning. We have had our girls here from early infants and have always felt they were safe and in good hands.
We took our 5 y.o. son to this school. They are good with kids. Our son learnt a lot there. He didnt complain about the teachers at all. He liked them all there. They send daily reports and their curriculum is good. Joni is wonderful and does everything above and beyond to make sure all goes fine. She is definitely a keeper! I talked more with Joni, but I noticed other staff members are great too. Our best wishes to Primrose. It is a bit expensive though. But I checked some other schools in the area and still chose to take our son to Primrose.
We needed care for our new infant and we were really impressed during our tour of the school. Two weeks into taking our new baby there, I knew it wasn't going to work out. One afternoon, at pickup, one of the caregivers in the infant room said to me, "she likes to be held a lot" as if that was weird/unusual/abnormal. Um, she's 8 weeks old for God's sake. What do you expect? Several times, they sent home the wrong bottles in her bottle bag. The final straw was when I picked her up early one day. This was at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown and children were not allowed to be out of their rooms, per their own rules. When I walked in, one of the workers was holding my baby in the main hallway, out in the open where all the unmasked parents were coming and going. She was completely exposed and unprotected. That was it for us. They tried to say we had to give a 4 week notice to take her out but when I mentioned their blatant disregard for my baby's health and safety, they walked that back real quick. For what they charge, I expected a lot more. They couldn't even provide the bare minimum of care.
