What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Primrose School at Bedford Hills for exceptional care, cleanliness, and staff professionalism. Children are reported to be happy and engaged, with strong developmental progress. The facility offers nutritious meals, daily photo updates via app, structured curriculum, and involved leadership.
Our son has been attending Primrose School at Bedford Hills for the past two years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. After touring countless daycare centers in the greater Manchester area, none came close to the level of care, cleanliness, and professionalism that Primrose consistently delivers. From the moment you walk in, the school is immaculately clean, organized, and inviting. The staff is incredible—always energetic, smiling, and genuinely happy to greet each child by name. You can feel the warmth and care from everyone, including the onsite owner, who is consistently present and engaged in the daily operations. Our son is happy every morning we pull into the parking lot and just as happy (and tired—in a good way!) when we pick him up. The activities are well thought out, and the Primrose app provides updates throughout the day, often including one or more photos. As a parent, this kind of real-time connection is invaluable. Another major highlight is the food program. The meals they provide are not only nutritious but honestly delicious. We’ve attended a few parent events where we were invited to eat with the children, and we were genuinely impressed with the quality of the meals. Now, let’s talk about cost—yes, $500/week for full-time care might sound steep at first glance. But when you break it down, it’s about $12.50 an hour for top-tier care, curriculum, meals, and a nurturing environment where your child thrives. In our opinion, it’s worth every penny. The staff does a difficult job and does it with so much love—it shows in the children’s development and happiness. If you’re looking for peace of mind, exceptional care, and a place where your child will truly flourish, get on their waiting list as soon as possible. You won’t find a better daycare anywhere in the state.
We absolutely love Primrose! Our journey began in 2021 when we enrolled our first child, and it only got better when our second child joined in 2022. Watching them grow and thrive at Primrose has been an incredible experience. The teachers truly care about our children, providing us with regular, thoughtful feedback that keeps us involved in their development. The owners are equally wonderful—dedicated to hiring exceptional staff and always being available when needed. One of the things that makes Primrose Bedford special is the way they bring families together. They host fantastic events throughout the year, from holiday celebrations to seasonal gatherings, which we always look forward to attending. But most importantly, Primrose is a place where our kids love to be. They get excited about Mondays and are eager to spend the week at school. In fact, they don’t like it when we pick them up "early" at 4 p.m.—they’d rather stay until 5:30 if they don’t have after-school activities like soccer or dance. We’re so grateful for everything Primrose has done for our family. Thank you for creating such a wonderful, nurturing environment!
Very sad to write this review because our son is ending his time at Primrose due to moving away. We will miss this school so much and I truly recommend it to any future parents! Our son is 16 months old now and has flourished at Primrose Bedford Hills. The infant/young toddler teachers are incredible. Ms Lindsay and Ms Emily are so attentive, loving, and dependable. They've been at the school for years and you can tell how experienced they are. The relief they give us as parents is immeasurable, knowing my child is in great hands. All of the staff put in so much effort, juggling the children's basic needs while incorporating the learning curriculum daily and sending constant updates/pictures through the app. I don't know how they do it, but I'm SO grateful! Lastly, the school is run by such great leadership. The owner Jim is involved and on property often, showing how much he cares. The director Samantha is no short of amazing - above and beyond efforts, aware of everything in all classrooms, super caring, quick communications, and loves/knows all the kids. Marina is very sweet and welcoming. My son has developed greatly during his time here: socially, academically, and hitting milestones early. Truly an amazing school to send your children!
We LOVE Primrose. My toddler adores his teachers, he recently moved up and he stops every day at his old classroom door so he can give his teacher a hug! My infant adjusted so quickly and is always content when I drop him off and when I pick him up. It is so hard sending my babies to daycare but knowing they are happy and well cared for makes it a little easier ❤️
Our son started at Primrose at 18 months and had a hard time being away from us at first. The entire staff was extremely patient and understanding. Just after a couple of months he was excited to go, and sometimes didn’t want to leave because he was having so much fun! We love how even at a young age there is a curriculum that each classroom follows. Our son has learned so much academically and socially. Thanks to everyone at Primrose at Bedford Hills he will thrive in school for years to come!
