It’s hard to put into words what Prime Time means to our family. Our older son entered Prime Time as a shy and nervous kid with separation anxiety. I never thought he’d get over his nerves. The amazing (and I truly mean amazing!) teachers of Prime Time quickly helped him flourish into a social butterfly who absolutely LOVES school! We live in Saint James and chose this school over closer options because of friends’ recommendations- I have never once second-guessed this decision. We love the curriculum they provide, the teachers all know each others’ students, it’s a very close-knit community they create for the kids and families. My children feel so comfortable there for both school and CAMP! My older son did not get into UPK due to the Smithtown lottery, and it was a blessing in disguise because their full-day Pre-K program has him learning SO much. I have no doubt he’ll be ready for Kindergarten next year. The teachers keep in touch via the Remind app and send photos as well, which was especially helpful as a first-time preschool mom. Our younger son is now in the 2s program so we have experienced all of the ages there - From 2s through Pre-K, everything Prime Time does is truly incredible! We will be sad to age out one day!
We absolutely love this preschool! My son is genuinely excited to go to school every day, which says everything. The variety of clubs and activities keeps the children engaged, happy, and learning through play and exploration. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive—they truly care about each child and make families feel welcome and supported. It’s such a comforting feeling knowing your child is in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. We’re so grateful to be part of this school and highly recommend it to any family looking for an exceptional preschool experience.
As a parent, and as an early childhood educator myself, I can confidently say that Prime Time is the most amazing preschool and has been an exceptional fit for our family! Our son, who is our oldest, came to this school after a previous experience that wasn’t the best fit. The change in him has been remarkable; he is now excited to go to school each day, and does not want to leave when we pick him up, which speaks volumes about the warm and supportive environment the director, Ms. Maxine, & the teachers create! This was also our daughter’s very first introduction to school. The teachers took the time to truly get to know her, helping her feel loved, safe, and supported from the start! We wish they were preschool through 12th grade! The after school clubs are phenomenal; offerings like Italian, cooking, sports, STEM and more, expose the children to so many enriching experiences at such a young age. On top of that, we also love their summer camp program…each week has a fun theme & families have the flexibility to choose individual days or full weeks, which is a rare and incredibly helpful option. The staff are kind, nurturing, patient, & attentive, while also fostering a loving and engaging environment where children can grow at their own pace. We would wholeheartedly recommend Prime Time Preschool to any family looking for the most amazing preschool experience!! We wish we found them sooner!
Prime - Time They have been such an incredible experience. They aren’t just a school but they feel like a home. Each and every one of the staff members and teachers are all so amazing. They know everyone of the kids like they are one of their Own and know the parents like they are family. They are great! They also offer so many extra opportunities for the kids to get involved in each and every day which I love. Such as cooking classes, italian and so many more extras for the kids to get involved in. I look forward to continuing our time with them and also enrolling our youngest son when he is ready. I highly recommend this program and school for anyone that is looking.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Primetime Preschool and I can’t say enough good things about the teachers and the owner. From day one, the staff has been incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the children. One small but very meaningful touch that stands out is how the owner, Maxine, greets every single student by name each morning. It really shows how much she cares and how personal the environment is. My daughter started in the 2s program, and the growth I’ve seen in her has been amazing. She has learned so much academically and socially, and her confidence has grown tremendously. As a parent, especially during that first year when I was nervous, the teachers went above and beyond by sending me pictures and updates throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. We love this school so much that my daughter will be staying through Preschool. It truly feels like a supportive, loving community, and I’m so grateful we found it.
