What Parents Say
Precious Lamb Academy has received highly polarized reviews. While some parents praise the facility's playground, staff professionalism, and staff members like Miss Yvette, multiple recent reviews raise serious concerns about unprofessional conduct, safety violations, hygiene issues, and neglectful care practices.
If I could give zero stars I would. The unprofessionalism is real. The owner named Ms. Evert or Yvette or however you spell it literally sat and talked about an autistic child to another teacher. She called the child handicap and dirty. You don't know who is in your building and who can hear what you say. To talk about someone's child like that is despicable and to know that she's an owner is even more absurd. If she talks this way about an autistic child, imagine what she says about your child when she thinks no one is listening. I don't have a kid here but after hearing how this GROWN woman spoke about this child who's non verbal and can't defend himself, I wouldn't even put my dog at this place.
I am extremely disappointed with this daycare and would not recommend it to anyone who values their child's safety and well-being. First off, the professionalism is severely lacking. Some of the teachers regularly come to work smelling like cannabis, which is completely unacceptable in a childcare setting. Furthermore, when my child had a minor runny nose, the daycare staff insisted on sending them home. After consulting with a doctor, I was informed that it’s normal for children to have a cough or runny nose during their first few years of daycare, so this seemed unnecessary and alarming. The quality of the food is also questionable—kids are primarily fed canned or frozen meals, which is concerning. Additionally, I was horrified to find out that my child was left sleeping on a bouncer, which is unsafe for infants and toddlers. This lack of attention to safety is deeply troubling. What really crossed the line, though, was overhearing a teacher threatening to call DCF on the children. This behavior was not only unprofessional but downright disturbing. It’s also worth mentioning that another teacher was seen changing diapers with extremely long nails, which is unsanitary and raises concerns about hygiene. Overall, this daycare is very unprofessional, unsafe, and simply not the kind of environment I want for my child. If you care about your child’s safety and want them to be in a nurturing, professional, and clean environment, I would strongly advise against sending them here
Kids enjoy coming here and are well taken care of. Huge newer playground and kids basketball hoop in the rear. Staff are professional.
This daycare will throw out all your information. Think they can stuff your child whatever they’d like to even when you tell them no or that she’s allergic. They won’t even give your baby formula in fact they’ll put the bottle together so carelessly that the whole bottle comes apart then let her sit in it. In as little as 3 hours a day of care my child came home with bumps all over her stomach and insect bite marks, sick to her stomach with black dirt all over her socks like they haven’t cleaned in 10 years
Miss Yvette is a God send 5/5
