unhelpful to the fullest extent possible no longer will be trying to work with this organization, nasty people at that with the purest attitudes. Every last one of them, don't let a little confusion come upon you that's when the attitude starts, whether it's Carteret they're in or Amboy THEY'RE ALL NASTY. Do not work somewhere, and assisting people is the priority then have these childish 11th grade attitudes, YOU ARE ADULTS

I think this place should be under investigation seriously I’ve been approved since January but since dealing with Raymond Flores I've been getting the run around. DCA has been so helpful for the times they have provided assistance over time. However their outsourcing of the homeless prevention program through this organization is either biased for a particular people like the other review said. I have been dealing with Raymond since he’s been in the office and he’s been absolutely TERRIBLE. I’ve gotten approved 3 times and all times in failed through and when i went to the office he made up excuses and made it seem like he was sorry and he would help me more. You can’t get in touch with this guy through anything no phone call, email and sometimes even going up there. From May 2024 up until now i still haven’t received info he loves to bs still nothing from them. This place is a joke don’t look for assistance cause they won’t give it to you the’ll literally wait for you to be homeless and after that bugs hands is washed. It has to be someone we can all report this to it’s really sad and wrong i really believe it’s discrimination plays a big part.

I'm reporting this agency to be investigated by the state of nj for discrimination, approvals not being met and so much more. In the past year I've watched how they work and who they help. A need is a need no matter your ethnicity. The staff in perth amboy specifically is a disgrace!

Seems an awful lot like they are only assisting certain people. I would sure hope that’s not the case but when the VA hospital says call them, they have funds, and I get told two months into the new year that all funds are used up, and yet I am seeing other people get assistance I can’t help but wonder what’s going on behind closed doors

I think this place should be under investigation. First I would like to thank DCA for the assistance they have provided over time. However their outsourcing of the homeless prevention program through this organization is either biased for a particular people or what they should provide is a smoke scam from Wed Sept 4th I have followed the prompt leaving my lnformation for a case manager screening. From then till now Sept 20th I've called every three day for a follow up. Still nothing from them. I went to the office to speak with someone, rang the bell for over an hour,on a Tuesday mourning ,nothing. A line of people started forming asking if the place was open. I have the name of the person in charge of the rental assistance program and his extention, l left 2- 3 messages, still nothing. This is extremely frustrating. An community organization promoting asstance that's not available, I will try another way to get their attention. I only need to speak with someone to verify the criteria for eligibility, go figure?
