We’ve been bringing our three kids to Portside since 2017 and couldn’t be happier. Most of the teachers are the same over the years and that really makes this place feel like family to us! We’ve always had a wonderful experience and our kids look forward to being here every time they are dropped off. We love all the art they do, the reading and learning they do, even with our one year old! Our kids enjoy doing ‘jobs’ because of the Montessori learning style which teaches them grit! Thank you Portside’s for taking such wonderful care of our family!

Little did I know, this decision would be the best for my family!! Portside Montessori has been overwhelmingly positive for my family from day one. The staff’s genuine care for the kids is truly heartening. You can feel that they're not just there to babysit, but to support each child as they grow. Our little ones, who are currently exploring the wonders of preschool and early learners, have amazed us with their progress, all thanks to the incredible teachers. They’re already counting, breezing through sight words, confidently spelling their names, and soaking up knowledge about planets, continents, oceans, and plants like a sponge. The curriculum at Portside Montessori does wonders in sparking curiosity and keeping young, eager minds engaged. Additionally, the school's flexibility with hours and minimal closures for holidays and teacher training days is a lifesaver. And they offer meals and snacks, which makes juggling work and family life a whole lot smoother. Overall, Portside Montessori has surpassed our expectations, providing an environment where our children not only thrive academically but also socially. We couldn't be happier with our choice, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to other families in West Sacramento.
