As a first-time parent, choosing the right school for my 2-year-old daughter was such an emotional and nerve-wracking process. We toured so many schools across Plano, Allen, and Frisco, but the moment I stepped into Plano Day School (PDS), I could feel something different. It was warm, welcoming, spacious, and full of happy little faces in each room. The classrooms were bright and full of laughter, the teachers greeted every child by name, warmly welcome every new child, and I instantly felt a sense of trust. Seven months later, I’m beyond thankful that we chose PDS. My daughter loves going to school. She literally jumps out of bed every morning, excited to see her teachers and friends. She talks nonstop about her daily adventures: singing songs, doing art projects, learning new words, and playing outdoors. I’ve seen so much growth in her — she’s become more independent, confident, and expressive. The teachers at PDS are truly wonderful. They are caring, patient, and so attentive to each child’s needs. They always keep parents updated with pictures, notes, and little stories about what the kids did that day. It’s those small touches that make me feel connected, even when I’m at work. My son is currently in its afterschool program and has been there since 2 and half years old, and we've had a wonderful experience. The teachers are so kind and helpful, and the events are always fun and full of love. A recent example that really stood out to me was when the weather turned cold. Ms. Liu in my son's class made sure all the children were wearing their jackets before going outside for recess. It's that level of care and attention that I truly appreciate. I'm extremely grateful and hope PDS continues to thrive!
Our family is so grateful for the incredible care and guidance our son received at Plano Day School. The teachers and staff not only prepared him so well for kindergarten, but they also gave him a safe, joyful place to grow. My firstborn son graduated from PDS, now I send his little brother to PDS too. Teachers are responsible trustworthy. Best choice.
