We originally came to this school because our 1st option wasnt able to watch my kids for a couple weeks and we have a backup care program that uses this school. I was skeptical because I hear stories of back up care companies and have never actually experienced them. So the 1st day we walk in I was welcomed immediately, the staff were very warm and welcoming. I dropped off my 1st kid at his classroom and the teachers were very quick to make him feel welcome and make sure they understood all the details I had for him for his safety. I dropped off my 2nd kid at her classroom, she is a shy girl, the teacher noticed this very quickly and sat her beside a very social little girl and you could see my little girl felt so much better. At the end of the day when I picked up my kids they were very happy and didnt want to leave. This is a very good school where education, life skills, and fun meet to develop the child's mind and guide then to what they love. I highly recommend this school

It used to be such a nice Academy when Ms. Betsey was a school director. With a new management, this place has been changed a lot. The atmosphere is not friendly anymore. Assistant of director is always on her cell phone and does not even say hi to you unless director is there. She thinks that incident reports are only for head trauma. Also, my kid did not learn anything new since old teacher, who was very passionate about teaching kids, left. My 4 year old kid almost broke his nose and they did not even file an incident report. The new teacher got unfair write-up because assistant director told her that she does not need an incident report for bloody nose. Prepare to leave your kid inside by front door if daycare is short-staffed on that day. It happened to us. New Teachers and assistant director need a major training. The rates went up but the quality of education and care went down. We Addressed all issues to upper management but they care only about money. Old director and assistant director, multiple teacher left this place a month ago for a reason. 6 kids from our class left this month as well. We were there for almost 4 years because this place was like our second home. We are very happy we left because there are so many better schools around.

My son loves attending school everyday! He has been going since he was 2.5 years old, he is now 4 and has thrived in every class. His teachers take time to learn and connect with him and I can tell he feels safe and loved here. He really retains what he learns in class and is always singing songs and reciting different rhymes he learned in lessons, which I think is great for preparing him for kindergarten. PCA feels like a second home and I recommend them to all my family and friends in search for quality childcare.

We wanted to love this place but unfortunately that is not what ended up happening. Our child has been at a different daycare for the last 1.5 years with no issues but we wanted to change to Phoenix Childrens due to distance and school. We toured the daycare before hand and were assured the staff and teachers were professionals. We brought our child in for a “discovery day” where he was so excited to make new friends. Fast forward 4 hours and we are told our child is not welcome here because he didn’t want to take a nap and wouldn’t stop talking. They banished him to the office and told us we need to pick him up. He is 4 years old in a brand new environment, it takes time to adjust. Apparently the teacher just couldn’t handle him today and they decided to take it out on our child. He didn’t want to leave as he enjoyed the day there but I guess it’s better to punish a child than be an adult. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone looking for quality and professional care for their children.

*big sigh* I wanted to love this place. I tried. I gave opportunity after opportunity to fall in love with it but it just did not happen. My daughter was hurt way too many times due to the disregard from some of the staff. My daughter’s diapers were not adding up (as far as what had been used vs. what they were claim were being used) so we switched to just brining in what she needs per day. Things did get better but we had found that her wipes were not being used like they should’ve been and we had specifically said that only her wipes are to be used because of her sensitive skin. Now I want to step away from the negative for a minute. There are several teachers here (Ms. Noelle) that deserve all of the praise… she is the most attentive and loving person I have met here. The directors listen and when they find it fit they do make changes. At the end of the day, for my family anyway, it was just too little too late. My poor daughter had been hurt by the same kid multiple times and even after being told that my daughter and that kid would not be in the same room together… they were and she got hurt again. Like I said, too little too late. I just wish things would’ve been different.
