Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church is highly regarded by the community, though reviews focus primarily on their food bank and community outreach programs rather than daycare services. The facility is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, progressive values, and extensive support for low-income and homeless populations. Parents and community members consistently highlight the church's generous and inclusive approach to serving those in need.
I was married there in 1983 by Pastor Wannamaker and my 4 children were all baptized there! What a beautiful church, then and now. I'm so happy to see it's still there after all these years! I was baptized at Ballard First Lutheran and my parents AND grandparents were married at Immanual Lutheran both by Pastor Stubbs.
Best food bank ever you can only go every other week but they will still allow you to come even if they are out of your network which was very helpful when we moved and weren't sure where/when our new bank/hours were.
One of the best food banks in the area. They don't turn anyone away. God bless them and everyone that works there.
Progressive and loving. My eldest sister's memorial was held here last weekend, and the atmosphere was of great kindness. Her daughter, my eldest neice, was married to her wife here two summers ago. Again, loving and progressive. Thank you. ❤️
I don't actually attend the Church itself. But they run a fantastic and generous food bank . Along with an amazing Holiday foodbank!!!! And they, also have an OutReach program. They do so MUCH for us the homeless and low-income population.....for years-:) !!!!!! Most churches these days have either cut way back, and/or give what ever they want to contribute to local non-profits to handle. And still, nothing compared to Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church. Sadly there tends to be a big disconnect/lack of real communication between those that have and those that don't. And so there's fear of the, unknown
