I was highly disturbed on today when visiting the courthouse, 02/10/2026, between 1:30-3:00 pm. The security guard sitting at the x-ray machine/belt stated she had to check my purse. Absolutely fine for I had a small can of lysol in my purse from travel. Then, she proceeded to rummage through my purse vigorously...not necessary & I'm upset, but I let her do her job. This next move truly was the final straw, for she had her right hand deep in my purse with the glove sleeve turned down & the other hand inside my purse as if she was attempting to slip something in her glove or in her hand to close her hand quickly...I moved towards the belt & pulled my purse forward & she jerked it back & kept her hands inside...rummaged through it again in a power move then said I was free to go...when I jerked my purse, the other officers moved back & turned their faces away & their backs...if they thought I was a threat, & they should have, because I moved towards my purse to try to stop her next moved, they should have moved forward to ask me to stay, but they turned away as if they were accustomed to the routine of purse searches that look like organized theft by an officer...you need only run the video from this time. Upon leaving, the same checks by the same officer. I would like to speak to the head of security about this incident...if someone would be so kind as to send an email, I will respond immediately. The officer that rummaged through my purse was female, Black/African American, heavy set, shorter in stature, curly, honey blond hair with glasses. I tried to check my purse quickly to see if something was missing, but had to move on to conduct business...she spent an inordinate amount of time throwing things around in my purse & it absolutely looked like a game of theft. Please stop this from happening again, even if a supervisor oversees the searches. Thank you.

Clerks are very nice, but interaction with Joy Wilde was unpleasant. There seems to be the display of an attitude that is unnecessary.

PG County Court represents companies, not individuals. They favor large corporations over the best interests of an individual. Since these judges are appointed and not elected, preventing reappointment begins at the governor's office. I would give this place 0 stars if possible, and if things do not change in MD. I am relocating. I refuse to pad the pockets of state legislators/judicial system who do not have my best interests at heart.

The clerks working have been incredibly polite, professional, and of great assistance. They were informative and answered all my questions. I'm thankful for their help!
