What Parents Say
Note: The reviews provided are for a fitness/community center, not a daycare facility. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive (all 5/5 ratings), praising the clean facilities, qualified staff, pools, and welcoming environment.
Great facilities with good quality from gyms, exercise studios to beautiful swimming pools. Shower and locker rooms are pleasant to use and rarely get overcrowded. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing fitness instructors in the group classes. Reasonable prices for what you get.
If you are most interested in getting a great workout with great, well-informed staff all around to support you… with no drama, no blaring loud music, no inappropriate “pickup behavior” from anyone (male or female)… whether you are like me and want to get in and outta there with the most physically- and time-efficient workout and look forward to coming back the next day, then this gym is for you. It may cost a bit more than Crunch, etc., but worth every penny!
I really love the gym. However, I have a few things that bother me. Some of the showers in the women's locker room smell when the water comes out the pool indoor is disgusting. The outdoor pool is never cleaned. I will sit out there and I never see a lifeguard test the pool add chlorine. They don't cover the pool at night so when you swim, you can see just stains and dirt all over the bottom of the pool. . Additionally, the lifeguards don't seem to pay attention to people actually swimming. They'll be kids in the lanes just kind of doing nothing hanging on the lanes. I just wish that it was a little more regulated and clean. The gym upstairs also has the same cleanliness issue people use the mats don't wipe them down the attendance don't really seem to care or pay attention. The floor is always dirty. If they cleaned it more than posted some rules, especially in the locker rooms. I think it would be much better.
Jennifer (front desk area) has assisted me on multiple occasions and has been amazing every time. She’s fast, professional, and always finds a way to turn any of my request into a positive resolution. Truly appreciate her dedication and customer service. Same goes with rest of the PJCC team! Facilities A+ and social events galore!
Terrible GYM. The staff are nice, except for Bob at the front desk! If I don’t bring my card for a single day, he has to start bickering about it and to be honest, it’s really embarrassing. The shampoo and conditioner are okay, but the shower water is never hot anymore! The locks are super bad. 1/3, the lock would not unlock. The indoor pool is also filthy. My swimming suit smells terrible after coming out, and the outdoor pool always has dirt at the bottom. The café also closes too early.
