Kids Connection

Kids connection school is a cozy learning environment for kids. Our kids originally joined Kids connection school during the day but not the afterschool program. The afterschool program was previously more relaxed and mostly play-based. Once Max Laoshi joined, the afterschool program, kids connection chinese afterschool, became more academically focused and Chinese learning environment. He is extremely responsible, smart, strict in a positive way, and truly cares about both the students’ progress and the parents’ expectations and communicates proactively. He emphasizes Chinese learning, assigns meaningful practice, and even tutors the students ahead of time for Math Kangaroo, helping them build confidence and get better scores. He also highlights and celebrates students who make progress, which really motivates them.. The teachers in the program are caring, patient, and truly invested in the children’s learning.

Kids Connection’s new Chinese Immersion Extended Day program has been a wonderful addition for our kindergartener. The teachers and staff are consistently friendly, patient, and attentive, and they create a warm environment where kids feel supported and excited to learn. We’ve seen meaningful progress in a short time—my son’s Chinese writing has greatly improved, and he now recognizes and uses **many more Chinese characters** than before. We’re very satisfied with the program and would definitely recommend it to other families seeking a high-quality, encouraging Chinese immersion experience after school.

Our daughter has been attending Kids Connection School since kindergarten, and we have been very happy with her experience over the years. One of the things that stands out most is the close-knit, supportive, and truly caring community. Families, teachers, and staff genuinely know one another, which creates a warm and welcoming environment for both students and parents. We also participate in the after-school program, which has been a wonderful extension of the school day. The program, led by Teacher Max, provides a great balance of language learning and cultural exposure, and our daughter has truly enjoyed and benefited from it. It’s clear that a lot of care and intention goes into the program, and we really appreciate the effort the school puts into offering high-quality enrichment opportunities. Overall, Kids Connection has been a wonderful place for our daughter to grow academically and socially, and we feel grateful to be part of such a supportive community.

We are very thankful for the Kids Connection Chinese Afterschool Program. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly invested in the children’s learning. I especially want to highlight Max, who is extremely responsible, attentive, and communicative. As a parent, I really appreciate how dedicated he is and how much he cares about the students. My child also loves Teacher Zhao very much. She is warm and encouraging. Highly recommended!

Our child has thrived in the Kids Connection Chinese immersion program led by Director Max Ma. We have seen our son gaining a lot in reading, proper stroke order and handwriting. The classes blend songs/rhymes, small-group games, and leveled read-write practice with just-right homework that builds steady habits rather than busywork. Cultural activities around Mid-Autumn, Lunar New Year, etc keep motivation high and help our child use Chinese in context too.
