Pee Wee Folks After School Center

We love this school. I was confused at first when read old reviews but was happy I sent my child there. The teachers are very good, the approach is amazing. My son was excited to go there every day. Reading old reviews may be confusing but I guess many things changed over the years and I definitely recommend this school. The playground is also great.

Every day that I come to pick up my son it makes me so happy seeing how well taken care of he is. Everyone in the school takes such great care of all the students. This is my second nursery school as I ended up leaving the first and I can honestly say I am extremely happy to have chosen Pee Wee Folks. My son is so happy and has grown so much in the few short months he has been there. The quality of instruction and level of rigor found in the classrooms is just another shining example of what makes Pee Wee Folks the right place for our family. I have no doubt; your family will love it also.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place! All three of my children attended Pee Wee Folks Preschool, Summer Camp, and Afterschool. They all had great experiences with caring teachers and camp counselors. Their days were filled with creative projects and innovative learning. Summer camp was so much fun that they never wanted to leave! The teachers are so compassionate and attentive. I never felt uncomfortable leaving my kids when I went to work. I also had no reservations about sending them on trips during the summer. The counselors are very organized and I knew my children were in good hands. During afterschool, my children got help with homework, played games with friends, and did arts and crafts. There is a huge yard where the children can run and climb. I wish they were still young enough to go there! I highly recommend this place to anyone who will listen. We miss it so much.

It was a delight serving the children of Pee Wee Folks. They're bright and well behaved. The teachers are patient with high emotional intelligence. The administration is very professional. If my children were younger, I'll have them attend Pee Wee Folks Preschool.

The only experience I had with Pee Wee Folks was when my daughter was in the After School Program for about 7 months. I had to remove her from there because there were some situations I was not satisfied even worst my daughter was not happy in that place. Here I go my experience. 1- Every time I picked my daughter up all her personal stuff were on the floor jacket, lunch back, scarf, backpack etc... the "teachers" did not really care about it. It looked like the entire day everything was there and they did not tell them to pick up. 2- The kids apparently could not run inside the room, in other words if some of them ran playing "the teachers" put them in TIME OUT for that stupid situation. I am wondering are not they kids? well one of the reasons my daughter got enough of them was because of that she said to me " mommy they put me in time out everyday for not reasons". 3-When the weather started warming up they bring the kids to their play ground a lot so when I picked my daughter up she was completely filthy, full of dirt from head to toe even I had to threw some of her clothes to the garbage. They do not pay attention the way the kids play. 4- The last situation which affected my daughter physically and psychological was that she was being bullied for another older girl and they never realize it. My daughter was avoiding going to school and feeling so depressing. As a parent dealing with this was a nightmare and stressful situation I do not want someone happen this ever again. I write "teachers" because these young people who watch the kids are not really teachers. They are only young students who do not know how to handle situations. The lack of supervision allowed them to do anything they wanted. I do not recommend this place as a After School they are very unprofessional.
