We’ve been using this daycare for two years and they are fantastic. Our son has struggled through some milestones and they have always handled it with grace and professionalism. They are reasonably priced and there is constant communication and updates via the app. We recommend this daycare for anyone we know looking for safe, friendly and educational child care.
We’ve been at Peas In A Pod off Marbon Rd for just over a year now. My son (3.5) was struggling at another local daycare because the class size was so big and we made the right switch to Peas. His class is small and his teachers have taught him so much in this year. He is speech delayed and his speech therapist is always welcomed and accommodated each week. Management has good communication with calendars, newsletters, menus, and general information being emailed regularly. Someone always answers the phone when I call, and someone is always available when I’ve had questions or concerns. As with most daycares, teacher turnover is relatively high. My son has had three different teachers in the year we’ve been there, which is difficult, but they always do a good job communicating about this. Peas was recommended to me by a great friend, and I have recommended Peas to others I know.
My 3-year-old son attends Peas In A Pod Learning Center. I love how close-knit everyone is, and the staff and director are amazing. He loves going to school and is always excited to see his friends and teachers. His confidence has bloomed and flourished since starting over a month ago. Ms. Angela has even gone out of her way to call me on the weekend to reach out and see how I'm doing during a medically challenging time. It's an old-school family vibe, and I'm so happy to call this our "home" for the next couple of years.
I recently toured Peas in a Pod, from the very first conversation that I had with Ms.Loretta it was very warming and friendly. I loved the atmosphere as it is very close knit, almost family style. I was able to meet with Ms.Angela, the director, very nice woman. She is very passionate about childcare and making sure that she is providing nothing but the best for families. I can’t wait to watch my son grow within the Peas Family 😊
When I first moved to Jacksonville I was at the Hood road location because they only had a spot there at the time and not Marbon. I relocated my son to the Marbon location due to its closer to where I live. When I went into the marbon location, Mrs. Angela welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family. She always has a smile on her face and she always interacts with every single kid. She lives and breathes Peas in a Pod. Don’t take the 3 negative reviews out of MANY positive reviews to heart. Mrs. Angela and every employee there is at Peas in a Pod because they love kids and they love education.
