Pasitos School LLC

Pasitos is a very special place for our youngest ones living in the area. I have had 1-2 kids attending at a time for over 3 years now and at both locations. The teachers are caring and nurturing, and have a genuine respect for and understanding of our little ones (they really do ‘get’ young kids—I’ve learned a lot from them!). The curriculum and teaching philosophy follow a Reggio Emilia approach – child-centered, highly play-based, experiential – and all of the lead teachers have bachelor’s degrees, mainly in early childhood education, which my family greatly values. My kids spoke Spanish before beginning but their Spanish language development has been greatly bolstered from the rich learning environment and the either native-speaking or fluent teachers. I can say with all sincerity that my kids have genuinely delighted in attending Pasitos and have thrived more than I could have ever imagined during their time here.

Some things a person really appreciates in the fullness of time. Pasitos is one of those. I didn’t know how valuable it was at the time. My kids are in high school but went to Pasitos when they were little. The teachers and owners were truly so caring an and instilled confidence, respect and values that have stayed with my kids. The teaching philosophy was based on evidence and dedication to the way children grow and develop. And there really was age appropriate teaching that captured the kids’ interest and imagination. I’m grateful to the owners for bringing this beautiful opportunity to our community.

Pasitos is not just a daycare or summer camp...Pasitos is home for me.  Pasitos is home for my family.  When we moved to the South Bay in 2018, my daughter wasn't even 2 years old.  It was always my plan to make my daughter bilingual, and as I sit here today that dream has been realized.  My daughter flourished there and connected with every single Maestra there.  My daughter is now in 3rd grade and I make sure that she returns there every summer to be a part of the activities and culture.  To this day, I am still friends with all of the Maestras and they will continue to be a part of my extended family here in California.  I could not recommend Pasitos enough.  If I ever had a 2nd child, I would not hesitate to send him/her there.  I love that place.

Have sent our two daughters here, total of about 5-6 years, and never had a single issue. The teachers care so much and are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended
