While traveling in the U.S., I wanted my son(2Y8M) to have the opportunity to connect with local children. A friend recommended Action Day School, which welcomed short-term stays. Initially, we only planned for two weeks, but we were amazed by how much progress our son made in such a short time. He had never been to school before, yet quickly adapted to group activities, and to our surprise, he came back to the hotel happily singing “Five Little Monkeys” with dance moves he learned in class. Seeing his joy and growth, we decided to extend our stay for another two weeks, giving him a full month of this wonderful learning experience. The teachers are warm, patient and truly dedicated, while the office staffs are kind and welcoming every single day—whether it’s greeting us in the morning or at pickup time. We are so grateful for this nurturing environment that made our son’s first school experience so positive and memorable!

We have had an incredible experience with Action Day Phelan! The staff is warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the growth and happiness of each child. Our child blossomed both academically and socially in their nurturing environment. The programs are well-structured and engaging, and communication with parents is always clear and supportive. We felt confident leaving our child in their care and are grateful for the positive impact they've had on our family. Highly recommend to any family looking for a safe and enriching place for their kids to learn and grow!

My son started going to Action Day when he was 3 months old until the age of two. During this period I never had any major concerns. All concerns or questions I had were addressed by the staff and office. My son was always happy go to school and I didn’t realize how much he was learning until recently when we moved to Livermore. My son is advanced with his words, numbers, shapes and letters thanks to the wonderful teachers at action day. Until today my son still remembers his teacher ms Jacqui and asks about her. Thank you action day for all the great memories !

We are grateful to have found this daycare, all the teachers have been wonderful and front staff so welcoming and supportive. Ms Lexi has been a main teacher for our little one most recently and even during her transition from one room to the next. Ms Lexi is always so friendly when suggesting things we should try or do or bring. When I dropped off my little one a couple weeks ago, Ms Lexi took her hand and gave her some props while the music was playing and other kids were dancing - and got her included in the fun right away! I know she’s in great hands. She spends extra time and attention to make sure the kids under her care get what they need.

When I first toured this center for my 3 month old daughter, I was nervous to have her start anywhere but I thought the facility was very cute and decided to give this center a try. SO MUCH REGRET. Hardly had any connection with the staff. My daughters blankets and pacifiers were constantly going missing. The last straw took place when dad went to go pick up and my daughter was the only child crying and not being tended to by the staff, just left on the floor crying. When I brought up concerns to the staff, things only continued to get worse. The supervisor called me back regarding my concerns of the staff not tending to my child and I was then told that the teacher she was in the care with had been sick that week and not feeling well.... which only caused more concern because why is a sick staff caring for my infant. NO THANK YOU. Stay away from action day. On top of that, be aware of the 30 day notice. I still have to pay for a full month of No Attendance because they require a 30 day notice. Glad they can still get paid for not doing their jobs.
