My family had a very troubling experience at this school. One specific teacher at the woods location repeatedly targets parents, children and staff and taunts them. This has been going on for years. Unfortunately, even though management is aware of these ongoing issues, they continue to ignore them. It’s disappointing to see that the director ignores these behaviors because of nepotism.
Partners in Learning prides it's on including and serving all children. This was not our experience with them. Our 3 year old grandson had a hard time separating from his mom in the mornings. He also was sometimes aggressive with his friends and Teachers. Ms. Jamie has the patience of Job and we appreciate all of her efforts when working with our 3 year old. The Director met with our daughter on several occasions to come up with a behavioral plan. The plan was never given a chance to work, because soon after the plan was suppose to go in place, he was dismissed from the center. A 5 star center without qualified staff to receive challenging children. I would not recommend Partners in learning to anyone. Bait and switch is the best way to describe them. “We are a model center for inclusion, providing early intervention services to children with special needs, including developmental therapy and special instruction, as well as support for parents.” The above quote taken directly from the PIL website. Yet, I am extremely disappointed with the vetting process for the ABA clinic. This facility prides itself on being inclusive and supporting children with special needs, yet my experience was far from that. In fact, I believe my child’s special needs were the very reason he was not considered for the program. I expected more understanding and support, however we left with disappointment and a realization that they don’t live up to their own values.
I had to take my son out of the pre k program early because Ms. Tiffany would yell at the children in her class, I saw that firsthand. I had a couple of meetings regarding this behavior. My son is well mannered so it was concerning that he would burst into tears everyday after school. I also had issues with their assistant who was in the classroom with the teachers, my son said he was pushed into his cot for nap time. I was told that the director watched the video and saw no wrongdoing, but I was not shown the video. Ms. Megan was great, as well as the office staff I saw on a daily basis.
My daughter and son both attend Partners In Learning, and we could not be happier with the care that they receive. They are both in a nurturing, learning environment with excellent, qualified teachers. My daughter is in the Little Lambs classroom and I love how loved she is and know she is so well taken care of.
