Parkwood Montessori Academy

We visited this school and immediately felt that our children would thrive here. From infants to toddlers, this school offers an exceptional learning environment. The staff is incredibly dedicated, engaging, and knowledgeable, making it an excellent choice for our children’s education. We highly recommend it.

We started at Palm Grove 6 years ago with our oldest child and have since had 2 other children enroll here. We love it here! The staff is dedicated and kind, our children adore them. They are like a second family. We couldn’t ask for better caregivers- they go above and beyond and are truly invested in the children’s and families that attend. They are open to feedback and take concerns seriously. We were a little nervous when the owners switched but it has been an excellent change. Their investment in and care for the school is evident. They continue to make improvements while continuing that culture that drew us here in the first place.

Our little one has been going to Palm Grove Montessori for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are so lovely — they’re always smiling, caring, and really seem to enjoy spending time with the kids. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making each day fun and engaging. One of the things I really like is that one of the owners is there pretty much every day. It makes such a difference! You can see they really care about how the nursery runs and that everything is done to a high standard. It gives you so much confidence as a parent knowing that the leadership is hands-on. They’ve also recently updated the food menu, and the changes have been fantastic. The meals are healthier, more varied, and still something the children actually enjoy eating — which says a lot! My child comes home telling me about what they had for lunch, which is so nice to hear. Overall, I honestly can’t recommend Palm Grove Montessori enough. It’s such a warm, welcoming place where children are happy, well looked after, and excited to go each day.

I first came across Palm Grove Montessori Academy while driving near my house. I had spent weeks researching and touring different daycares around the Plano area, but none of them felt like the right fit. Then one day, as I drove by Palm Grove, I decided to stop in; and from the moment I walked through the door, I knew I had found the perfect place for my kids. Ms. Lidet gave us the tour, and even before it ended, I already knew this was where I wanted my children to be. I’m so grateful for that decision and couldn’t be happier with our experience. I have two little ones who had been home with me since birth, so the transition to daycare was a big change; especially for my son, who struggled at first. The teachers and staff showed so much compassion, patience, and love, helping him adjust at his own pace. Now he’s excited to go to school every morning and comes home happy. We also love their Parents’ Night Out events! The kids look forward to spending the evening playing with their friends and favorite teachers, while my husband and I enjoy a relaxing night out. I can’t recommend Palm Grove Montessori Academy enough. It truly feels like a second home for our family; warm, caring, and filled with people who genuinely love what they do.
