I submitted my child’s registration back in May and it took months for the district to respond—only to deny it and ask me to resubmit just a week before school starts. I even went to the campus to provide all required documents, yet the status is still pending, and on “Meet the Teacher” day I was told my child’s name isn’t on the list. Calls to the district always go to voicemail, and if no one is going to answer, there’s no point in having a phone line. Families have other responsibilities, and registrations should be processed well in advance—not at the last minute.
