This is the only Church I've known. I was baptized and confirmed here. My 3 kids were baptized here and are my family's 4th generation to worship here. We love the gospel teaching and how welcoming everyone is to families.

I have attended Ortega Church for 65 years. My husband and I raised our daughters in this church and saw both of them go through their amazing youth group. The church offers so much including Woman’s Bible study, prayer teams, life groups, kids programming, and blended services with a great musical praise team. Our minister is a great pastor and cares for each one of Ortega’s members. Ortega Church strives for Mission and service opportunities. Come join us! Sincerely , Margie Fox

I don't attend here, however my toddler goes to Methodist children's village and this church always provides gift cards for the children during the holidays. I can't express how much this act of kindness means to me as mom of 3. I would love one day to attend services. Big thank you, from my heart, to Ortega Church❤️

It’s really disheartening when you visit a church, and you are met hearing the Ortega Church Youth Pastor discussing loudly on speaker phone how poorly they (Ortega Church) view other surrounding churches. But what the heck, the young lady in the church office - with the beautiful yellow cardigan sweater, was gracious enough to acknowledge me after 20 minutes. So gracious in fact that she loudly spoke about what I was inquiring about with zero discretion and disregard to any privacy. I guess this is just how they do things here, so I’m sure Ortega Church will appreciate my public review of my visit. As a visitor, I really could have went the rest of the day without hearing about how awful Church 11:22 and Calvary Baptist church are, the youth pastor and the gentleman he was on the phone with (who was looking for a youth group for his rebellious daughter) opinions about the ideology's of reformed Baptist churches in the area, or knowing some of Ortega Church leaders feel uneasy about the celebration of racial diversity within other churches. I wonder if this is what the youth pastor was talking about when he mentioned on the phone that the church was going through some things last few months? It was bad enough I was ignored, but the eye-contact while the conversation took place was kind of unsettling. I simply only wanted to inquire about a program for a friend that I read that they offer. For a place that looks so beautiful and welcoming on the outside, it sure is ugly and cold-shoulder on the inside.

As far a churches goes, this one is aces, IF you like judgemental, over paid people with too much time on thier hands. I attended this church my whole life and have never felt more judged and attacked as I do right now. If I were rich, I would fit right in here...but I'm not, so like most Christian's I get the stares and the unwelcomed feeling as soon as I hit the door. Jesus taught us to be welcoming to ALL people...the teenage mothers, the homeless, the poor, the LEAST of these. This place instead, makes false DCF calls and is to cowardly to admit they were wrong for doing, even based on DCF standards. I have gone to many different churches over my many years, but this church has single-handedly ruined religion for me as a whole. The pastor gives lackluster sermons with no heart behind them, the youth program is ok..if you can afford to send your kid on 5 trips over the summer with only one fundraiser all year..which isnt even paying for a trip, but dividing all money raised between everyone..whether or not they worked the fundraiser or not. The woman who runs the children's program is cold and rash and dont even get me STARTED on the children's choir. This is a FOR PROFIT church that will continue to spiral into oblivion because they dont have real issues, just fake "rich people" issues. They stopped focusing on God a long time ago. Shame on you Ortega.
