My Dad stayed at Orchard Hill Assisted Living for a 30-day respite following a serious car accident and lengthy hospital stay, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care he received. From the moment he arrived, the staff made him feel welcome and supported. They helped him settle into his apartment, provided excellent care throughout his recovery, and were attentive to his needs as he recovered and regained his strength. He really enjoyed the dining room which served three meals daily. He often commented on how good the food was and how he enjoyed the company of other residents in the dining room. What stood out most was the strong sense of community at Orchard Hill. The residents were welcoming and friendly, and my Dad quickly felt at home. He appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff. He also enjoyed the many of the community activities, including the musical presentations which added a fun and uplifting experience to his stay. The on-site barbershop/salon was a nice bonus too. They don't give haircuts in the hospital so after 2.5 months, he was long overdue, and the hairdresser at Orchard Hill gave him a great haircut. Thank you to Orchard Hill and the entire staff for helping my Dad get back on track!
Orchard Hill is amazing! This beautiful comminity has a very handsome living room where I get to share music with the residents and we always have a great time. The staff is kind and caring and I always feel so welcomed. Thank you Sandy and ALL the community caregivers who create enriching programs for the residents to enjoy here every day. I happily recommend Orchard Hill to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones. Thank you to all the staff for the love and compassion you shine on the residents. YOU ARE APPRECIATED ❤️❤️❤️
My mother has been a resident of Orchard Hill for over 5 years now, and she absolutely loves it there. Orchard Hill is family-owned and operated and is smaller than the other assisted living facilities we checked out, all of which makes it feel much more intimate and comfortable. It's located on beautifully landscaped grounds with an apple orchard (hence the name). The staff members are incredibly caring and responsive, and some of them truly feel like family. The food is very good and there is a wide range of activities. My mother was recently hospitalized and in rehab for an extended period after she fell and broke her hip. She couldn't wait to get back to Orchard Hill, and when she returned the residents and staff gave her a surprise party, which really sums up for me how caring the community is there. I give Orchard Hill the very highest recommendation.
My Mom is a resident of Orchard Hill. She has been exceptionally well cared for by all staff! The staff at all levels are caring, knowledgeable, communicative and go the extra step at all opportunities. I am guessing the staff too are well cared for and so it all comes from the top. The activities have many diverse offerings, the food is exceptional and because it's not a corporation, but privately owned, there is endless reinvesting and upkeep that is rare to find. I can't say enough good things about Orchard Hill and am thankful every day that my Mom is so happy and content.
My father has been here almost 2 years and it was the best move we could have hoped for. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the building has a feeling of home. We are so glad we found Orchard Hill!
