One Giant Leap is the best daycare! My daughter has gone here for 4 years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Fatima and Nelson go above and beyond to make this place special. I have never had a single issue. It is always very clean and my daughter is always excited to go! She has made many friends and memories here. I feel confident that my daughter is safe and well taken care of every single day which is a blessing because finding a good daycare is hard to come by. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This is how daycare should be done! When I read reviews, I thought OGL sounded too good to be true. I can assure you, it really is as great as everyone is saying. We have older kids who have gone to daycare settings in other states, and none of them compare to our experience at OGL. The directors and staff are all excellent communicators. Fatima and Nelson are absolutely experts in childcare and childcare management. The organizational and security systems they have in place are the best of the best. They really seem to continually invest in their staff, the facility and the programming. This is not a daycare where you’re paying someone to sit in a room scrolling their phone while your kid watches TV. Everyone is attentive and there for the right reasons. My favorite part is that the kids play hard, spend lots of time outside and inside amazing indoor and outdoor play areas. Our girl comes home feeling loved every single day. Fatima also goes ALL OUT for holidays and seasonal parties for the whole family. This is just another one of the many touches that made our experience at OGL the very best!

We absolutely love One Giant Leap!! From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease. The staff is so warm, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our boys settled in quickly and actually looks forward to going every day—which says a lot. They do such a great job balancing fun and learning. The activities are always creative and engaging, and they come home excited to tell us what they did that day. We also really appreciate how well they communicate with parents. Whether it’s updates, pictures, or just a quick note at pickup, it always feels like we’re in the loop. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier. After over 3 years, our boys are on to kindergarten and we’re all sad to leave Nelson, Fatima, Pharan and all the wonderful teachers they had. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great place to send their little one.

We found One Giant Leap when our son's daycare was closing with only two weeks notice. I can truly say I wish I'd found them from the beginning. We toured several daycares in the area- many of which I referred to as baby prisons- before we found One Giant Leap, Fatima and Nelson, and their incredible staff. From the second we walked in the door the entire facility was warm and inviting. I'd never stepped foot in a cleaner daycare facility, the natural light streaming in the front windows and the sheer space of the location was unlike anything I'd seen previously. During the tour, Fatima was able to answer all of our questions, she was relatable, funny and just alight with personality and magnetism. It was clear as child after child ran up to her while we were there, as she hugged them, called them by name, and/or simply called them "friend" that this was going to be the new daycare for our son. We have never had regrets! A year and a half later COVID happened. The facility never had to close, and their already thorough and meticulous cleaning went into overdrive. There were maybe one or two days total throughout the entire pandemic where they were concerned about potential exposures, so they closed and invested in industrial air purifiers used in conjunction with deep-clean carpet cleaners. They changed the way the children were picked-up and dropped-off, further mitigating any potential exposure to the kids and the staff. They worked with the Floyd County Board of Health and Indiana State mandates to ensure that they would stay open for the duration. I work in the medical field and never once feared taking my son here, they have been AMAZING through it all. I have heard Nelson on multiple occasions standing up for staff who had been berated by really rude parents. I always thought a good benchmark for a business is how well the owners treat their staff, and watching Nelson stand up like that was heartening. I have watched as multiple times Fatima and Nelson (and the staff) put extra time and effort into expanding the building, decorating for OUTRAGEOUS parties, and I've watched them adapt to COVID and still find ways for the kids to celebrate major holidays without losing the fun! The daily itineraries and food menus are amazing. They teach Head Start and pre-K curriculums in beautiful classroom settings. They have a great outdoor play area that gets updated equipment regularly. The meals and snacks are nutritious and introduce a variety of fruits, veggies and international flavors to young palates. To say you love your daycare facility is a privilege few people get but one that I am thankful we've been able to call ours for the last year and a half. You simply won't find a better daycare in Southern Indiana.

The best daycare you could ever find! We found One Giant Leap by chance and it was the biggest blessing to us. Our son went here for over three years, and I can’t think of anything negative to say. They always went above and beyond. They loved our son as though he was their child. The facility is always clean. Your children do not sit around and watch tv all day long. We knew our child was safe and would be well cared for at all times. There’s a fenced in outdoor area that the children love. They work on their colors, letters, numbers, sight words, all kinds of things to get your child ready for school. Every holiday, they decorate the facility and do something special with the kids. They planned a zoo outing in the past on a weekend. They have had summer water parties. Every Halloween they have a trunk or treat with the kids in the parking lot, so you know it’s a safe space. Christmas parties and programs where the kids sing. They even had a graduation for the kids going off to kindergarten. We could not be more thankful to Fatima, Nelson, and the rest of the OGL staff! You will not regret sending your child here!
