We had a perfectly pleasant experience at brighter kids with Kim, the previous director, Cynthia and Caitlin, our child's teachers. They were fantastic and clearly cared about the kids. Anywhere they work will be lucky to have them. This review is about what happened 2 weeks ago, when the owner went scorched earth, closed the facility without any notice for 2 weeks, not paying his staff during that time or giving them holiday pay, then blamed everything on his employees, resulting in I'm assuming many if not all of them all quitting leaving all the parents with no childcare at all. This is why add of today, it's still "temporarily closed". The current owner should not be running any kind of childcare facility. As long as Mr. Singh, "Gary", owns this place, I highly recommend parents avoid taking your children here and new staff be cautious. Long story short, after closing for 2 weeks over the holidays with no notice, he sent every parent messages blaming the closure first because they haven't been receiving funding from the state for 7 weeks. Then, after what I assume was a response due to angry parents responding to him, he blamed the lack of funding on on his staff, dragging their names through the mud. It was extremely unprofessional and honestly, very weird. He destroyed any trust parents had overnight. The behavior is a red flag for both parents and any future staff. He was never much of a presence when our child attended and only managed the finances from afar, and very poorly. Apparently staff had to spend their own money to purchase food for the kids. I personally spoke to him once about removing poison ivy that I spotted in a photo and he quickly brushed me off and told me to call back and talk to the director. I told him as the owner he needed to hire someone to deal with it immediately. He was clearly annoyed and didn't seem concerned. I hope this place is able to bounce back after the damage he's done, but it will be very difficult with the current owner managing anything.

My daughter started this daycare the 1st week of April. She has been home with me since the day she was born in November of 2020. To say I was nervous to put her in daycare was an understatement. Ms. Kim the director was an absolute pleasure to work with. She reassured me that my daughter would be in great hands and she was 100% right. My daughter had a rough few days adjusting as expected, but her teachers Ms. Cynthia and Ms.Charlie were so patient with her and I can promise everyday she wakes up eager to go to school. I am from NJ and being from out of state not knowing anyone was so scary while finding a school for her. Ms. Kim and all the teachers have been such blessings to all of us. I recommend this school to anyone.

I had my son in august and I was terrified to try daycare for the first time. I looked at many daycares and finally decided this one was the best fit. That was the absolute best decision I could have made. I say all the time how much I love this daycare. I never have to worry about my son. They update me every time he eats, sleeps, and gets his diaper changed. They also send me pictures and videos every day. My son likes being there. He loves Savannah in the baby room. He reaches for her every morning as soon as we get there, and I can tell she feels the same way. I really felt obligated to leave a review because childcare is a big deal and I’m so unbelievably thankful I found this daycare. It gives me so much relief knowing my son is in good hands every day.

Starting a new Daycare for my two year old was intimidating to say the least. I researched, toured and spoke with several other daycares in the Southern Indiana area for several months before finding Brighter Kids. After touring, I really liked it and was excited to find a daycare I felt comfortable with. My daughter is onto her third week there and she loves it. No tears when I drop her off, she is so excited when we pull into the parking lot every morning. She is always glowing & happy at pick up as well. They have an awesome app that updates you through out the day with meals, pictures, etc. Very happy with our choice!

Love love love this place. I have 2 daughter's that go here and they absolutely love their school! The staff is loving and caring and just an overall family atmosphere. When I drop my kids off for the day I know for a fact they are getting the best care! I also love the brightwheel charting app they use.
