Ofc/Sacc - Rose Hill

We have had the great pleasure of knowing Ms. Jay and her family for more than a decade. She has cared for all three of our children, now 11, 9, and 5 years old. When we started looking for childcare with our eldest, Ms. Jay was highly recommended to us by not just one, but several other parents; we are so lucky to have found her. It is a stressful process to find adequate daycare as a first-time parent. Initially, we had difficulty trusting others with the care of our first born. After meeting Ms. Jay, those worries and anxieties subsided and we knew that Rose Hill Child Daycare was the right fit for our family. We returned with each subsequent child despite living 30 minutes away, knowing Ms. Jay was the best there was. She is worth the effort. Ms. Jay is a wonderful caregiver who takes great pride in her work, which is apparent by the welcoming smile and warm hug that she greets every child with each morning as they walk through her door. She loves every child as if they are her own. Ms. Jay is a wonderful educator as well. She taught all three of our children to sing songs, recite the alphabet, learn to count, and even a few Korean words; but more importantly, Ms. Jay has taught our children appropriate behavior and manners. Our children came home saying “Please” and “Thank you” and we have always received compliments on how well-behaved they are. Rose Hill Child Daycare is a fun, engaging, and a meticulously clean place for children to spend their days. As an added bonus, Ms. Jay makes wonderful and healthy food for the toddlers at lunch time (which is one less thing to worry about); food our kids absolutely loved (and actually ate)! On a more personal note, we cannot thank Ms. Jay enough for the love, support, and positive influence she has had in our children’s lives and we miss her every day. She has been the absolute best “bonus mom” and continues to have such a strong bond with our children.

For Future Parents, Our family couldn't be happier with the time our youngest son spent with Jay at Rose Hill Daycare. She was an absolute delight and made the transition from having him at home into a safe, cultivating environment a breeze. Jay is fantastic. She consistently has activities for the children, keeps them engaged, and follows a strict adherence to daycare guidelines. We watched our son develop so well and hit milestones early, which was a delight. We could not recommend better daycare in the Rose Hill community, and we are happy to have been able to lean on Jay to keep our son engaged as two working parents. This wonderful program has been a massive success for us in juggling the everyday needs of ensuring our youngest had a positive and safe outlet during the day.

Ms. Jay is warm, kind, funny and genuinely loves kids. We enrolled our second child when she was 18 months old to Ms. Jay's Daycare and we were extremely happy to see our child had a smooth transition and adapted to the new environment quickly. Since, our child has been growing, learning and thriving, all while having fun. Ms. Jay makes delicious homemade meals for kids' lunch everyday, and has a nice big backyard with shades for kids to run around and play, which make this daycare truly standout from all the other places that we had tried before for our first child. Looking back, we wish we had found Ms. Jay's Daycare sooner so our first child could have had much better experience. We whole heartedly love Ms. Jay and would recommend her daycare to anyone!

My son attended Rose Hill Child Daycare with Ms Jay for two years, from age 13 months to 3 years and one month. We left Ms Jay’s to start my son in a local preschool and my son still asks to go to “Ms Jay’s house” some mornings. Also if I ask my son, “Who loves you?” he still replies “Ms Jay” in his list of people. I think that really speaks to how much love Ms Jay showed my son while he was in her care, and how much she bonded with him and delighted in him. Ms Jay has so much experience to draw from and such a deep understanding of kids. Her years of caring for kids as they grow and change really allows her to meet kids where they are, let them be who they are, and fulfill their needs. Ms Jay is a very calm and confident person, and has such a perfect personality for what she does Ms Jay could always tell when something was “off” with my son, like if he was getting a cold, or had not had enough sleep. She knew him so well that I was always able to trust what she suggested. My son is super active and can really be a handful at times, but Ms Jay did not shame him, nor did she let him get away with unsafe behavior. We all worked together and found strategies for his behaviors, and that really helped my son (and me too). As for learning, Ms Jay didn’t just teach letters, colors, and numbers, etc. My son learned manners and about empathy and how to care for others. He also loved her food and napped well at her daycare too. And I can’t emphasize enough how easy it was to communicate with Ms Jay, and how on top of everything she is. Calendars and menus are sent well in advance, as are reminders for things. She has her whole routine down, and there were never last minute changes or things that she forgot. Ms Jay is well organized and prepared. On special days with celebrations, like holidays or kid’s birthday’s, Ms Jay would always send lots of adorable photos of all the kids. I will always look back at my son’s years with Ms Jay very fondly and I am truly so grateful to Ms Jay for the care that my son received during his two years with her at Rose Hill Child Daycare.

Wonderful!!! Jay is experienced, kind, very organized, and honest! The activities she plans for toddlers are very engaging and age-appropriate and she is an excellent communicator. The space is clean and there are separate areas for sleeping and meals, and the outdoor area is large, safe, and well-maintained.
