Excellent Martial Arts Academy! Nunan’s Martial Arts Academy is an amazing place for kids and adults to learn discipline, respect, and confidence. The instructors are very professional, patient, and truly care about each student’s progress. My child has improved so much — not only in martial arts skills but also in focus and attitude. The environment is positive, friendly, and motivating. I highly recommend Nuna’n Martial Arts to any family looking for quality training and great values!

Very aggressive and dangerous driver. I would not allow my child to ride on this bus. Driver was acting very aggressive honking the horn speeding 10 miles over the speed limit, weaving in and out of traffic.

Well what can I say! Nunan is a fabulous mentor. We took my nephew here unfortunately only for one day as they live in the uk 🇬🇧 but he wanted to experience martial arts in the USA 🇺🇸 Nunan welcomed him in and my nephew had the best time! Nunan keeps things real, I have read the one star reviews about him being a bully, and I’m sorry but a Bully is not it, he is simply teaching discipline too, martial arts isn’t just about learning how to defend yourself it dates way Back and discipline was and is a big part of it. You need to understand martial arts on a deeper level to understand it properly before labeling someone a bully. We loved Nunan’s teaching style and so did my nephew because we understand it. Thank you Nunan for a wonderful experience. We will send you photos of our boy in his uniform when he starts his class in the uk :)

I've been waiting to write my review for Nunan's because I wasn't sure if my experience is emblematic and therefore applicable but I'm going to write it anyway. I'm not one of their traditional students but I found that they had a small judo program there and was interested in that. I couldn't find much more information on it so I called and left a message. Master Nunan called me back and asked why I was interested in judo; the club isn't competition oriented but a way for folks to still practice without a lot of the high-impact. Since I was looking for a supplement to other stuff it was a good fit. I was welcomed right away and allowed to practice for months, MONTHS without paying a single dime. I gained a lot of confidence with my throws and it wasn't until my first belt promotion that I started paying dues so that I could be officially recognized. The he majority of students here practice Tang Soo Do so the judo contingent is smaller and tight knit. I definitely enjoy seeing the same faces week in, week out. We even have annual Christmas gathering just to sit and chat off the mats. When I've had to stop practicing due to health reasons, pausing was simple and was told even though I won't be able to practice I can come in an observe anytime.

Nunan’s Martial Arts is an amazing, warm and friendly family oriented school. I have trained there for more than ten years. My sons also trained there and my oldest son reached all the way to second degree black belt. Master Nunan’s a very talented martial artist with a wealth of knowledge in the martial art of Tang Soo Do. He also has experience with Judo and Jiujutsu. He teaches fun, varied and physically challenging classes. In all the years of training there I have never been bored. I have also worked with the after school program and all that it entails. Nunan’s Martial Arts after school follow strict guidelines on child care and are very serious in keeping students not just safe but also entertained and challenged. I’ve seen student grow and flourish in this school. I highly recommend this martial arts school!
